View Full Version : are you unbearable?????
I know my mood has been pretty ugly lately....and I cant take much more of it!!!!! I dont know if I have annoyed my husband (more than normal that is) but I am annoying MYSELF thats how cranky I am......
I think this is the worst I have ever "had it" with winter.
So...how bad have you got it?????:smash: :smash: :smash: :smash:
Fishpart 03-04-2003, 12:44 PM I'm not quite unbearable. I'm plannign on going to a tackle show and I don't even think I'll buy anything.
I do have a couple of things in mid at MSBA though.
BEETLE 03-04-2003, 12:51 PM I'm always unbearable - so nobodys been able to see the difference !! :smash:
Jimbo 03-04-2003, 12:58 PM I know exactly what you people need. An elixir that can cure even the winter blues.
Are you tired, rundown, listless?
Do you pop out at parties?
Are you unpoopular?
Well are you?
The answer to all your problems is in this little old bottle.
Vitameatavegamin.
(Lucy looks at bottle)
That's it.
Vitameatavegamin contains vitamins and meat and megetables and vinerals.
(hiccup)
So why don't you join the thousands of happy, peppy people and get a great big bottle of uh, vita-veedee-vidi-meanie-minie-moe-amin.
I'll tell you what you have to do - you have to take a whole tablespoon after every meal.
(drinks straight out of bottle)
It's so tasty too.
Just like candy.
So, everybody get a bottle of... this stuff
chris L 03-04-2003, 01:02 PM vita vegimine mmmmm that will grow hair on your chest . I dont think thats what Jenn needs for the blues .
Im always unbearable , But I like it that way . My wife hangs with me cause she likes adventure " I never know what your going to do next " !
Fisherwoman 03-04-2003, 01:04 PM I am there with you Jenn, I really can't freakin take it any more, after all of the surgery and problems I had around Xmas and taking this course and tying rigs for the show I am just about to crack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This has been the winter from hell for me!!! I just can't wait to get to the water for some well needed therapy.:smash: :hang: :wall:
striperjerk1 03-04-2003, 01:08 PM rotflmao. I LOVE LUCY.:laughs:
Got Stripers 03-04-2003, 04:38 PM Yup, tough winter, but it's almost over. Jenn/FW sent you two emails/pm's, weather long range isn't good for the weekend, looking at Friday. Let me know.
gilligan 03-04-2003, 06:00 PM am i unbearable? ya i think my fiance would say so. she is asking me when fishing is gonna start back up. im looking forward to some sweetwater fishing/canoeing. i bought a canoe last year before the stripers came and after they did i never used it, then i bought an 18' aluminum boat . i thought i had wasted my money but now im thinking it's a good start for the season chasing large and smallmouths around the local ponds.
I think I am going to have to change my name to "crabette"......
Homerun04 03-04-2003, 06:33 PM Unemployed, winter snow, freezing cold, shoveling the driveway.......house for sale.....will trade with anyone located in FL.......:jump1:
bassmaster 03-04-2003, 06:46 PM :af: :wall: :af: :wall: :af: :wall: :af: :wall: :behead:
bloocrab 03-04-2003, 07:27 PM ...it's not that bad for me. I've held off on so many fishing related tasks, that I'm actually fearing it'll be ready before me!!!!!!!!
..which helps make the wait more bearable. See how it works, I really ain't lazy....its just subliminal therapy!! :laughs:
fishweewee 03-04-2003, 07:31 PM winter sux:smash:
redcrbbr 03-04-2003, 07:42 PM who you callin freakin unbearable!!!!!!
you talkin to me!!
I've held off on so many fishing related tasks, that I'm actually fearing it'll be ready before me!!!!!!!!
I dont think I have anything ready.....usually I am digging into all my fishing "stuff" and getting it ready by now......but I havent....just because right now I think it would make it WORSE.!!!!!(if thats possible!!)
RED.....wouldnt you love to be stomping up and down on the beach freezing your tootsie off right now??!! :D
nightfighter 03-04-2003, 09:36 PM Friend asked me about my availability for an Eagles concert, in July!!!! Realized from my recent "itch" that I might blow off concert if "the bite is on".......(not gonna miss dat show tho)
Busy with work, but can't wait. Anyone wanna start planning a NJ trip?
BigBo 03-04-2003, 09:38 PM I'm so unbearable, that if this winter doesn't end soon, I'm going to go broke from buying tackle, tackle, and more tackle. I keep buying but can't use any of this stuff. Last night, I had everything emptied out on the floor sorting, cleaning, adding new stuff. The wife walked into the room looked around, shook her head, mumbled something uncomprehendable, and left. Later, she's back staring at everything again and I can see the wheels spinning but luckily, I've learned to remove price tags off of things before they get in the house. Hopefully she never sets foot in the tackle shop. :laughs:
RickBomba 03-04-2003, 11:24 PM You guys are lucky with the cabin fever thing...
I've been super busy @ work; I'm now in charge of all off site catering, plus my regular role as "President of Operations."
Thank God I got rid of the beeper, it would probably be worse.
Just got home from the Isle, very busy again tonite. Hope it keeps up.
Later,
Time for Bed and later sleepeating.
Rick
Skitterpop 03-05-2003, 12:29 AM This morning my mug O` coffee wouldn`t even talk to me....
I wanna go fishing!!!!!!!!!
My wife gats cranky every winter and it never bothered me. That is until this year...it seems the littlest things get under my skin lately.
JohnR 03-05-2003, 10:53 AM My wife thinks so
glad I am not the only one thats grouchy ..
RICK:
Time for Bed and later sleepeating
FOR REAL???
I saw one of those discovery channel type shows on this and it amazed me people actually did this! (kinda scary....they also had cases of people sleepKILLING!! youre not a murderer in your sleep are you???)
  by the sounds of it you need to slow down and eat during the day!!!;) ;)
macojoe 03-05-2003, 05:37 PM Well It sounds like I am the only one that is happy. I have been building rods and cleaning reels and getting all my gear in order. All I have to do now is spool up all my reels and I am ready to go!
The next thing I have to do is get my boat ready. I have converted it from an I/O to outboard. I bought a 175 Yamaha for it and a gill bracket. Just need to put it all toghter. Which won't take to long. I will be ready my May1 with no problem.
Only 16 Days till spring so :jump: cheer up.
Macojoe
I've been trying to catch fish at the super market
then I'll go down the cape and just cast and cast not catch a thing :fishslap: :rocketem: :ss: :hang: :gorez: :sled: :wall: :behead: :smash: :smash: :gf: :nailem: :devil2: :lossinit:
Canalratt1 03-05-2003, 07:24 PM You guys have to get out more often. I go fishing or hunting every weekend THERE IS NO OFF-SEASON! I'm surprised I'm still married!
I'm not cranky. not in the least little bit. You simply have no idea what your talkin' about and whats this s(&%$&t about more of that white crap tomorrow. Somebody has no f*&%n sense of humor. I'm not cranky. I'm not cranky! You hear I'm not cranky....
Notaro 03-05-2003, 08:02 PM jenn, go to www.shockwave.com and look for game and click on it. then click on the sport games section and look for 3D big mouth bass. it's not a striper and it doesn't vibrate. but it should be able to keep you preoccupied for awhile until april or may. alternatively, you can spend your fishing time in your bedroom with your husband. just pretend that you guys are on the pursuit of a marlin or a mako. :bo: :humpty: :heybaby: :bsod: :whackin: :fishslap: :biglaugh: :topic: :devil2: :rollem: :sleeps: :yak: :hidin: :lasso: :hihi: :eek5: :claps: :bounce:
so all of you men should do the same thing if you can't fish.
Maybe all of you should go on a ICEFISHING trip instead of my ideas of "your personal fishing trip.":smash:
im just kidding. it's a dirty joke, ok?
Bernzy 03-05-2003, 08:08 PM Dr. Bernzy says:

fishsmith 03-05-2003, 08:38 PM More good news, its going to snow tomorrow. Heres a clip from tonights globe:
Between 2 and 6 inches of snow is expected tomorrow in an area extending south of the Massachusetts Turnpike across southern Massachusetts into Rhode Island and Connecticut.
Flooding rains and now more snow, and people wonder why folks in the north east are bitter.
Notaro 03-05-2003, 08:39 PM thanks a lot, simpson, you just triggered jenn and people's minds here. they are going to get more pissed.
Mike P 03-05-2003, 08:41 PM Yeah, but it's supposed to be back into the mid-50s by Saturday.

That's the beauty of it :D
If you don't over do it, it will take you to a place where things around you don't seem so bad.
If you do over do it, the cabin fever issues will seem miniscule compared to the hangover you will have the next day :smash:
BTW, it must be served out of the freezer or back porch, whichever is colder :hihi:

Scotch Bonnet 03-07-2003, 12:43 AM Snook and Tarpon(small) outside the hotel and the amazing thing was these HUGE Rays lauching out of the water everywhere. From my balcony I watched a guy in a boat hook a decent Tarpon. The thing did backflips up and down the canal like I aint never seen. He finally gets it to the boat and it makes a run under the boat and starts goin airborne again. The guys bent over watching his fish go ballistic behind him. Too funny. Next time I'm grabbin a guide - there's alotta water down there.
I was checking out the real-estate. Prices are way up down there too. But South Florida is the place to be.
Made it to the IGFA Hall of Fame. I will post some pics later.
