My wife and daughter will be going to a concert in a few weeks at Gilette statudium, I've heard nightmares of 2-3 hours to get out of the parking lot. Anyone have any tips on parking in areas you can get out of rather quickly?
I'm sure the Taylor Swift crowd will be pretty rowdy :buds:
Thanks!

As long as they are willing to walk a little bit, Seasonal Specialty is a great place to park. I think they still let you exit directly onto Rt 140 which helps avoid a chit-ton of traffic.
The walk is maybe a little over a mile but can save a ton of time.

Check to see if the commuter rail runs for concerts. For Pats games it runs to the stadium and is much more convenient and cheaper than parking on site. Unless you're planning a Taylor Swift tailgate, then you want to drive in and park.

They definitely charge and do fill up quickly. Last time I was there was a couple years ago, think it was $20-25.
Whatever it is they charge, I have to imagine it's the prevailing rate throughout most of the lots... I'm not positive though.

It rides on tracks. :rotf2:
I'm not sure about concerts, but for Pats games the Providence line stops at the Stadium. there's a platform right there. The last stop before Gillette is Mansfield and I think it's $12 round trip. It's worth looking into it to see if it runs for concerts. Check the MBTA website.
