I'm talking about one of my favorite plugs of all time.Deadly out of the box used day and night.Super Strike 2 3/8 oz sinking popper.Black eyed gold.I am wondering if there's a way to add a rattle to this badboy without ruining the action.I'm not sure if they are hollow or solid.I have some plastic rattles I use for soft plastics.I was thinking match the size of the rattle to drill bit.Drill a spot in the plug the same depth as the rattle and finish it with some epoxy.Anyone ever tried adding some sound to one of these plugs?

The SS Sinking Little Neck (2 3/8 oz) is as close to "perfect" as a plug gets.
WARNING - DO NOT TAMPER WITH. NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS.:smash:
:uhuh:
(except the hooks)

There is one mod I do to this plug. Rear hook gets changed to a 5/0 bucktail dressed Siwash. Twist the rear hook hanger 90 deg, use a split ring so the hook folds in close to the plug when casting. Nice sexy wiggle as you slow swim that baby back to the surface after a pop or two and pause to sink.:uhuh::)
You could buy the floater, drill a hole in its tail and insert some bird shot to bring it up to the 2 3/8ths weight and presto.. you got rattles.
