Found the macs, found the stripers. Biggest of the day was a C&R since we had our limit already of 6. O.D.Mike and I did well, smallest in the picture is 30 and largest 40".

Don't know what SD and Dawg and bickering about but I would not lift a fish I was going to release by the gill plates....they do use these to breath....just my .02 cents.

while i value and respect your opinion, CD,

it's just not what i would do to a fish that i had brought to the surface by boat, knowing that i am going to release it. how deep where they, there are other ways to hoist a fish, and to allow them to hang like that puts an unnecessary stress and strain on the fish's organs,,,,,,no matter how long it happened for, they are not created to be held THAT way,,,,,,

For some it's more important to get a good pic than to release and handle a fish properly. No harm in trying to educate people on how to properly release a fish. Some people just are unaware, some people don't give a ****.

If they still feel the need to mishandle bass after being given the proper info, then there's not much you can do. :smash: It's all about respecting the resource.
