I just changed my diet. Portion control....instead or 3 burgers, which was the norm for me, I have 1 burger and we have been eating turkey burgers which are actually pretty darn good! Biggest part of my success has been I cut out the junk food cold turkey....all of it! No donuts, no cookies, no pie.....none at all! Also riding the canal bike about 40-50 miles a week has been huge......so all these things have worked for me and I am not hungry or anything??? Not like I am starving??? My best trick is when I get the urge for cookies or a muffin or something I have a spoonful of peanut butter. Its quite filling and it quenches the urge and I do this maybe 2-3 times a day! Also eating lots of fruit when I have the urge for snacks....apples and bananas.....watermelon!!!! All good stuff! Its been great!

High fructose corn syrup is evil.

Eat more plants and exercise. The weight will fall off...

Great job so far.

Nice job Larry! I lost 21 pounds in the Portly Angler (love that name). Shooting for another 10 and I am going to keep going. The carbs were the killer for me. Even though I have a sweet tooth I gave that up with the occasional splurge in moderation. I don't drink or smoke so a man has to have some vice. The whole family is eating healthier and that is really cool. Also starting to exercise hard but sensibly. Good luck and keep it going! JP :uhuh:
