My wife and I welcomed Violet Maria into the world on 7/11/10 at 10:14 am. 7 pounds, 3 oz 19/12 inches long. I'll tell ya what I am just beside myself this is just unreal. Just wanted to share will all you fine people! I guess I won't be on the water anytime soon, but I couldn't care less right now.

Congrats Rockport! My little girls were born 23 and 20 years ago respectively. Fatherhood has its ups and downs but I wouldn't trade my too girls for anything you could imagine.

Enjoy every second. Time goes by faster than you'd think.

I want you and your lovely wife to know that she is at the most portable age these next few months. Take advantage of that. Both of you. Get them both out of the house. It will take a lot more planning and packing to get on the road anywhere this time next year. Trust me on this one. My twins will be 18 in February.....
