View Full Version : Lost & Found
UserRemoved1 07-20-2010, 01:46 PM I moved 6-7 years ago I think it was now. I lost my Guzz plugs.
I found them today:happy: I have the largest collection of Guzz plugs in the world. Wish Vinny still posted. I'll take some pics later. Waaaay cool stuff. Guzz is the master.
UserRemoved1 07-20-2010, 07:14 PM Guzzby Rocks
UserRemoved1 07-20-2010, 07:16 PM He made these way cool slider baits that have a great action in the water. Bunch of sizes.
SurfCaster413 07-20-2010, 07:16 PM Thats an awesome looking plug
UserRemoved1 07-20-2010, 07:18 PM These pics don't do justice to the colors.
If I remember right he did all these with RATTLE CANS.
Raven 07-20-2010, 07:18 PM beautiful stuff Dude,
i find it amazing tho that a stash of this quality
remained hidden for that long :rotf2:
UserRemoved1 07-20-2010, 07:20 PM Vinny had a very unique flowing style. I'm not sure but these may have been done without a lathe also-I think he owned just a belt sander? I may be wrong but something jigs my mind about this.
UserRemoved1 07-20-2010, 07:21 PM Made some wicked nice poppers too.
UserRemoved1 07-20-2010, 07:23 PM Another one with real nice colors. It's taking me a while to edit all these pics down in size
UserRemoved1 07-20-2010, 07:24 PM More as I go through this box. There is about 400 lures in this box. Alot of my original stuff too.
UserRemoved1 07-20-2010, 07:26 PM An original Salty Crazybugger. POPLAR was POPULAR back then. :uhuh: Notice THE GRAIN
Jigman 07-21-2010, 11:19 AM Early guzz plugs were all rattle can. He later picked up an airbrush. Looks like a few that you have were airbrush ones. Most were done on a beltsander, though he did some on a lathe more recently. I also have a pretty good stash of guzz plugs. Still throw them and catch on them too :uhuh:

UserRemoved1 07-21-2010, 11:43 AM That's what I thought. Ever hear from him anymore?

Not in a long while. Showed up from time to time on the other site, but don't think he has been on there since Nov or Dec of last year.

Hi Jiggy I love you
Dave Peros 07-25-2010, 07:21 PM Given that last post, it's clearly not your mind!
Go Salty - and how much did you pay the guy in this month's OTW to say he caught funny fish on small Salty's pencils?
Give me a break - or you could send me some to prove if they work for myself!

Dave Peros 07-27-2010, 11:49 AM I'm not sure I want to know what you are doing up at 4 AM if you have time to post.:biglaugh:
By the way, where do you get those five-inch Salty pencils?
Go Salty!
