I should have put this up on Memorial Day but it's here now.

Someone or some people spent a lot of time putting this together. Check it out
and thank a Vet

Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall - The Virtual Wall (TM) (http://www.virtualwall.org/)

and there is a very nice page for Flaptail's brother John

The Virtual Wall - John Shiraka, PFC, Marine Corps, Worcester MA, 11Mar69 29W014 (http://www.virtualwall.org/ds/ShirakaJE01a.htm)

I remember about 5-6 years ago on the some plugs thread he put up a remembrance post 35 years after he lost his brother. His older brother was a hero to Steve. It's sad they both died young :(

here is a link to that post in that thread on page 53 of the thread StriperTalk - some plugs (http://www.striped-bass.com/oldplugs/showthread.php?threadid=13081&perpage=15&pagenumber=53)

thanks for looking

Thanks, Slip.
Visiting the wall and placing my fingers over the engraved names is one
of the most moving experiences I have ever had. You can feel their
sacrafices, and are overcome by the number of names.

I remember Flap telling me about his brother, how he could feel
his presence and how because of him he had a special connection
with the Good Lord.

God Bless our Hero's and their families.
