Ok, hope this doesn't start any arguments...lol...I understand that many find the sebiles to be expensive and the hardware not up to the fishing that most of us are using them for. This is because the the lures that we are using are made to be fished in .................freshwater..... Now i'm going to try and answer a few questions that I get asked frequently about the lures.

1- How can they charge so much for a lure?

Well at $25 - $36 a piece that you pay for a stick shad depending on where you buy it.....there is a market for it at that price. As most of the saltwater fisherman, are not aware that freshwater anglers, Bass fisherman especially will pay as much as $350 - $400 for one lure...yes one lure which is sold out before it even hits the market. Take Spros BBZ-1 which retails for as much as $36 and is a freshwater bait. There are many lures like this all over the freshwater market. This is why the price is so high.....theres a market for it at that price.......Same thing goes for wood. I use to pay $10 - $12 for a wooden plug, now you'll pay no less then $16 for a plug and most range between $20 and $27.....is this bad? .....I dont think so as long as it catches fish, I have no problem dishing it out...... Think about it? $450 for a rod, $900 for a spinning reel, $60-$80 to spool up with line....Its nuts....this is why we pay so much and it will only continue to go up.

My weight in my stick shad is loose?

I personally have only had this happen to one of mine and it was cause I banged it up against the rocks for being to lazy to walk down. Now before I left to Icast There seemed to be a run of plugs which the weight was coming loose, To me this didnt change much of the plugs action but made it cast badly sometimes. I brought some broken plugs with me to Icast and sat down with Patrick about the problem which has been taken care of. Since then he has visited the factory and the weight which was set in a plastic hanger to hold it. Will now be enclosed with a partition wall. He also informed me that anyone who has this problem can send there stick shads to Sebile for a replacement.

Will Sebile make a saltwater lure?

Sebile does have a saltwater line of plugs, Its called there Salt and Sun series. Which include the Bonga Jerk, Splasher, Stick Shad, and Flat Shad. All of these baits are thru wired and foam filled and come with super strong spilt rings and owner st-66 trebles..........The price you pay for the up grade is an extra $10.

hope this clears a few thing and im glad to try and answer any other qustions you all might have.

Thank You

The price you pay for the up grade is an extra $10.

So $40+. No thanks. I'd rather replace the hardware myself.

Thanks for the info.
