Fit butt ist then fit the tip.Line it all up to check fit. Use some hd epoxy and glue it together. After its set sand it smoothe then wrap the break with a thread similar color to the rod. It will be a bit heavier action but it will still work. I've repaired amny broken rods like that and they're still working from what the owners told me.Just a little stiffer action. Ron I might try stuffing a tip section from the butt if one becomes available. This rod with 21" broken off is super stiff. I get approx. 6" bend under load.
