IMO, all they have to do is make striped bass a non-commerical (game) fish nation wide. As soon as they take the price off the head ot the fish it will rebound bigtime. END OF STORY!

Some guy in the surf or boat taking a few fish (no matter what the size) has NO impact on the stocks, I support a lower limit that allows the fish to spawn a time or two prior to being caught but this BS about limits and commerical catch is a complete joke from state to state!

Go into a fish market in MD eastern shore and see 9 to 12 inch "rockfish" fish stacked like cord wood, there is your problem. Commerical fishing and the ability to PROFIT from the striped bass should stop. I gave up o all the committes and meetings, these commerical guys thing they have some GOD GIVEN right to profit from fishing for striped bass, and they want NO limits place on them! The take from sports fisherman is lame compared to commerical.

It is not even worth wasting your breath any more. It has been out of control for the last 10 years.

Come on get it all out sand man , tell us how you really feel.

It's all about money , always is. The ones who get their way are the -strong,rich,and powerful. Joe Angler writes a letter and they throw it in the trash. It makes me ashamed this is what the country is coming to .

We need more common sense!

9" rockfish? what is there like 1 ounce of meat on that size bass. I don't get it. That does it I'm growing a garden this year . Garden during the day and fish at night - catch and release ofcourse.
