Yeh, they're probably done, hear the waterboy pulled a hammy is on the 15 day DL too. But they got a split with the nailbiter yesterday.

too much heart gone from the team right now.....losing Youk was the stake through the heart.

It's a shame too....they were starting to really play good baseball when they got snake bit....

All we can do is hope for the best, if they make the playoffs, Francona should be a lock for manager of the year.

Kalish looks to be the real deal, good bat and a gun for an arm.

Yesterday was a nail biter, getting out of the 7th with bases loaded was awesome. The yankees line up is sick, minus jeter and gardner everyone else is a legit cleanup hitter.

I don't know why red sox fans have given up. They will overtake Tampa for the wildcard. Tampa just put 2 starters and 1B on DL.

BTW I am a yankee fan.

Minnesota is right there in the wildcard race now, too. I think it's just too much for the Sox to overcome. They play well enough to keep you watching and interested, but in the end I think the injuries will have kept them from the playoffs.

The sox will make the playoffs. Tampa and the Twinkies won't.
