I'm not that much of a boat fisherman and only really drift eels or chunks or chase birds. I was wondering while tubing if you go with or against the current or both? And at night is a black tube the norm? Thanks

Thanks ivanputski 08-14-2010, 02:14 PM against the current allows a slower presentation... But I'm more of a surf guy that has had success with the tube from a kayak before, so take my advice with a grain of salt ProfessorM 08-14-2010, 04:56 PM direction doesn't matter to me, where I fish anyway, could matter if you have structure . Yes black is a good choice. MrHunters 08-15-2010, 06:52 AM against the current will get your tube spinning better and give you a slower troll but logically wouldn't most small bait be going with the current? I struggle with this too, catch them both way... Maybe I'll keep a running tally next season. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
