I witnessed the fire dept. saving 3 fishermen and then their buckets one day down there.
I guess a sign of some sort posted about the dangers would not help huh

they must have to rescue people there all the time
what the heck are they thinking:smash::wall:

Maybe post a sign with a fine/cost for rescue? Maybe if you hit the right nerve, they'll respond?

How deep is it between the ledge he's on, and the road? I'm assuming that he can't wade back in? Never been there, so I'm just curious.

over the waist at high tide. Its definately a flooded wader spot, but he isnt in waders.. if it was rough, he would be in trouble.. chances are he just swam back in.

Its not that deep there, but thats not really the point. You see these guys ever weekend. Usually families. Little kids.

You can't fix stupid :wall:.... anyone :fishin: in the Atlantic ocean that is un-aware of the tidal changes deserves what they get :smash:....I see them get stranded on the jetty two or three times a year, thus prompting rescues that at times put the would be rescuers in grave danger :devil2:...

That's a little girly rock west of 1/2 tide rock.He will be just fine. The spannish armada put themselves in much greater danger on sunday nights on the point going scup fishing in their sunday go to meetin clothes.Even in high ,rough water they just wade right out there.
