Catching up on last weeks opener now. New show up next on Discovery. Not Deadliest Catch, but I still like watching. I don't miss going to the Bank though. Glad I did it when I was younger.....

The bank is something nasty when it wants to act up and it can be REAL lonely. Perspective of how minute we really are.

The bank is a great big empty. There was one place you could see the sand at low tide. I always thought it was funny that you could see the bottom that far out.

I just finished The Hungry Ocean by Linda Greenlaw,Great book describing what life is like on a boat out there. As you see on the show the woman can fish.

actually, she's had bumb luck until the most recent episode. Even in the opener she runs aground. Hasn't painted her in the "legendary" light.

i do feel bad for her though because she's got a jackass for a crew member.

So I guess she is only as good as her last episode.

i didn't say that.

bumb luck can happen to anyone.

if you knew nothing about her other than THE SHOW and that she's a legend you would be saying WTF??

Don't you know your only as good as your last fish??
