MrHunters 08-26-2010, 05:24 AM its turning green again :wall: :rotf2: UserRemoved1 08-26-2010, 05:44 AM mines been green all summer. best field of crabgrass I've ever had. Chokes the lawnmower in August n looks great  Raider Ronnie 08-26-2010, 06:06 AM On the bright side of all this rain this week, it f***ed up Obama's Vineyard vacation ! :buds::kewl: JohnR 08-26-2010, 07:29 AM My weeds are budding flowers Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device Bronko 08-26-2010, 07:36 AM I have a blue ribbon crop of crabgrass in the backyard. Might call the local 4H and try to enter it in a competition. I actually thought I had the lawn under control this summer... but I have lost the battle.:yak5: PRBuzz 08-26-2010, 07:57 AM Yup almost made it to Sept before getting out the mower again, this afternoon when the grass dries...just surveyed the area and doesn't look like any major grub damage as there is now a nice uniform green starting to show all over the yard. Sometimes hard to tell where brown is drought caused or insect damage until greenery reappears (or doesn't). Fly Rod 08-26-2010, 08:30 AM What was brown is now green. :fury: Need to put gas in the mower, but, that will have to wait till after I do some tuna :fishin:. :) EricW 08-26-2010, 04:36 PM It was so dry this summer that the crabgrass wouldn't grow in my lawn. I usually get overtaken by it. Now my good grass is coming back nice and strong. Hopefully it will fill in some after I plan on feeding it (organically) and I can get it strong for the winter. FISHING_FOOL 08-26-2010, 05:16 PM Yeah its a bummer. I realized my lawn needs to be mowed after reading this post. FishermanTim 08-27-2010, 10:27 AM On the bright side of all this rain this week, it f***ed up Obama's Vineyard vacation ! :buds::kewl: Did they blame that on Bush too? Have they appointed a mega $$ panel to investigate why it "rained on his parade"? (sorry, I couldn't resist) :biglaugh::rotf2::biglaugh: macojoe 08-27-2010, 02:49 PM I am planing to put a lawn in soon, but they want like $3k :fury: Then I will have to cut it, have no idea what I am thinking I guess?? Might go with out door carpet and never cut again! vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
