hello all,
i am a college student renting a house for the year on milford beach...im actually from nh and have been striper fishing there and southern maine for about 12 years...but i am new to ct and surf fishing here...ive been reading some posts about surf fishing from the milford beach area and they say that its not that productive? any ideas? how long do the linesiders stay in the area for and is the milford beach area a good place to surfcast from? lol sorry for all of the questions, but im just so excited to be able to walk out my back door and have the beach right there!!!

SWAGS - welcome to S-B. Having fished that area only a little, yes there are fish in the area. Prime time being spring and fall. Best places are really at the inlets.

I would suggest checking out the CT Surfcasters Club - great people
