Mike, I knew you got a new boat, but missed all the details. What did ya end up buying?

Denis, you headed south this spring? I made a last ditch effort to do a long weekend down in FL the weekend of the 29th while my wife's friends come up to visit and help with the twins... but daycare fell thru for the new babies and I can't spend any $$$ till I have that resolved.

We may go down to Tampa in May though, so I would sneak out for a day then... there be tarpon in the IC waterway at that time of year.

Anyway, hope you're headed down to the Lagoon... good luck if so.

Greg, Yea I got a 2003 , 21ft Sea Hunt, with a 150 yamaha, s/w model, plus the trailer , upgraded the electronics and did some modifications to suit my wants but I,m still keeping it in the slip == because of the extra time I.ll get to use it ,, like short time trips , sometimes I only go 1 1/2 hours or so , and its real easy with the slip around the corner
next time you come to Johns let me know and we will ride ,, ifs its later on ==bring your pole////
later ,Mike

Clammer, I will definitely try to do that this year. I know I struggled to get together with John the past couple years and I know this year will be tough as well with the kids. But I would like to come down and the three of us go out... especially when the herring are around.

I can't wait to see the new boat.

Denis, sorry to hear you won't be going soon, but I won't feel sorry for you, 'cause September should be fun. I'm still hoping for May and its looking pretty good so far... we'll see.

Glad to see you are getting out Mike. What engine did you get on the rig? 150 HPDI? Spent the afternoon washing the boat and rigging the new 240 blue depthfinder. Hope to get a Garmin 182 chartploter soon to put beside it.
