I was kayak fishing with my friend Shawn down in Duxbury on Sunday morning. It never ceases to amaze me that people hear a fishing report one day and still flock to that spot a day or two later expecting the same results.
No, I'm not talking a flotilla of kayaks, but a half dozen boats parked right outside of the channel marker on tyhe bay side of the PPB.
I would understand their dilligence IF they were catching fish, but the action just wasn't there. Then there were the "run & gun" boats that were scouring the bay looking for the "invisible" pogies.

For the record, We were there because of the forecast of SW winds, with hopes of calm(er) conditions and maybe some fish. We were wrong on all counts. There were stronger winds, choppy conditions, and NO fish.

OK, I'm done grumping. I'll just focus my attention on next weeks vacation and LOTS & LOTS of fishing!
