Filleted my beautiful 32 and saved the trim and misc meat to use as bait. Was going to toss my line off the rocks or a beach. Anyone ever use non-fillet meat as bait, from where, and what did you catch if anything? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I've caught Fluke on jigs tipped with belly strips from a filleted bass.

How about using Lady Gaga and all the meat she had draped off of her theother night for chum?:rotf2:

If you use lady Gaga as the lure be prepared to catch a mess of whiney teen hipsters.

I'm not so sure that you'd be on solid ground, legally, as the law in Massachusetts prohibits you from possessing striped bass that has been "mutilated" in such a way that an accurate determination of its length can't be made.

I don't know whether you'd want to risk an individual EPO's interpretation of this regulation.

A guy got a 50 in Lynn Harbor earlier this year cleaning cod at his slip, while he was throwing the scraps over the side, he kept seeing flashes. So he hooked a big cod skin and hit a 50... crazy.
