Don't get much better than this! At low tide we launched and I dropped my yaks about 150 feet from where I parked! Knowing where the high water mark was I parked accordingly! When we returned to beach the yaks I simply had to pull up next to the trailer!!! I thought it was cool!! Easy to load all my gear and both yaks and didn't even have to move the truck and trailer!:rotf2::kewl::cheers2:

The morning started a bit rough....dead low and blowing hard in the bay we headed inside the PP Bridge! Very shallow in spots so a tough go at that stage of the tide! We waited it out and weathered a few problems.....I broke a paddle and Angie put a barb through the mirage drive fin so I had to cut the barb off to remove it...none the worse for wear!!! Don't tell me those VS Pliers can't cut VMC Hooks....cause' they do with no problem!! No fish though but there was no shortage of bait!!!! Nothing pushing them though!!! I bet on the drop it lit up this afternoon!!! Good time though with just Fishbones, Fishchick and myself!! Missed the rest of you bums....oh and Eddie.....Angie said to tell you she missed you.....it just wasn't the same she said!!:rotf2:

Yeah,
I got the Thule mounts I get 3 yaks up and still haul the boat.

But that workout lifting those yaks, I don't have hobies, is more than the days paddlin

I ended up at REI earlier today to price the cradle type brackets for my yak, right now I use a foam pad on my Back Rack in the front and a foam pad on a receiver mounted t-bar on the back. The problem is when I crank down the tie downs, I actually caused a small crack in the shell where one of the scupper plugs go. :smash:
