Just as an FYI for people who don't want to walk too far, as the new lot behind the big tent may be closed off, as it was for the Scallop Fest last weekend. The Stan Gibbs Cape Cod Canal Fishing Classic will be offering valet parking for the event. The service is free, but donations will be appreciated. It's entirely up to the individual to donate, and in what amount if you choose to do so.

What are you doing with rancid towels in your vehicle Numby? You throwing snakes while nobody is looking? ;)

Good to know. Will the funds raised be helping to erect the statue?

Yes. The organization will also have a booth inside the tent, and will be raffling off gear, including a custom rod donated by one of the local shops.

Thats great. Any ideas on how secure the parking area where the valet's will be taking the vehicles will be?
