well you and i and other portly men can only imagine
because we won't fit inside the rescue tube...:grins:

but they should have a rescue shaft already established as protocol
before any mining operation begins as a back up plan of escape.:uhuh:

That would probably only happen with burdensome government regulations :fishin:

First one expected to be rescued shortly.

I heard the miners are lobbying amongst themselves to be the last one out. I assume that the guys with the most to gain by being last are the ones whose wives met their girlfriends at the vigil........:rotf2:

HEHE I got a good chuckle over that Ross. Imagine explaining that one. There was an article a few weeks ago that said they went fist to cuffs right there in front of everyone :fight:

I hope this works for them.

What an inspiration to see everyone coming together and
working together for thier countrymen.
First thing the rescued do, after greeting their family, is hold
their countries flag.
Patriotism and love of thier country at it's best. :)

Kudos to the Chilean President too. Something tells me if this was the US you wouldn't see Obama standing there for 20 hours to welcome each one.

Actually, I heard BHO wanted to fly down and push the miners back down the hole. Ventilation when working with lead Scott, Ventilation!

This is a great global story about the human spirit. No need to bring politics in it Scott. I do agree, if this was China I think they would have just finished filling the hole in.....

No politics Bryan just stating what I think wouldn't happen. He'd probably be playing his 55th round of golf :rotf2:

I pour outside with a 24" fan behind me.

It would be damned if you do, damned if you don't.

1. We have bigger problems, fix the economy!
2. This is all a political stunt. Obama sucks.
3. Wood is bad. Plastic is better

True story - I dated a big time NY attorney who was a partner in a firm that defended airlines in plane crashes. One of their clients was a Columbian airline that would crash quite a bit going into Bogata. When interviewing the family members to determine damages, often 2 wives (a US and a Columbian wife) would show up.

those crazy latin lovers.

Last night was cool, we had dinner in front of the tv with the kids and watched the nightly news to see the miners, the kids were really into it and had a million questions. I was getting all choked up watching it. Great story. Its amazing what humans can accomplish when government gets out of the way.
