I am headed to upstate NY next week just above Pulaski, and looking to do some fishing. I have only been in the summer and fished for warmwater species. Anyone have any recommendations on what to fish for and or where to go? I really don't care, but I spin and flyfish and will have access to a Kayak and a 14' aluminum, but more than likely will be mostly doing some quick hit and run missions from shore. I would even think about a guide service for a day. I will obviously be asking the local tackle shops but hearing info here is always a lot better.
Thanks in advance.

Water is slowing Down... as of today 750 CFS. Try Whitaker's great folks there in Pulaski, NY. There is still time for King Salmon...
