View Full Version : Lost Surf Bag
tlapinski 10-14-2010, 10:55 AM I know this is a looooong shot, but if anyone happens to be on Block along the SE side and comes across an AquaSkinz small lure bag with a couple plugs, leader wallet and Olympus Stylus 790SW in it, please let me know. It was lost somewhere around the point between Green Hill and Tilson coves. My fishing partner lost it Sunday night after getting demolished by a wave. Thanks.

He was lucky to come out only having lost the bag. The 2nd or 3rd wave that hit him pinned him into some bubble weed which then stuck to the bag. When he got out his bag ripped off his belt but we didn't notice until about 15 minutes later. Went back and looked aorund right away as well as the next day, but never found it.

Toby,
There is a big group going over today. Mike Dauphin (Tattoo) is part of that group - give him a call.

tlapinski 10-14-2010, 12:00 PM Thanks DZ, I spoke to Fontaine yesterday and asked that he spread the word for the group to keep an eye out for me.
PaulS 10-14-2010, 12:03 PM I'll call someone in that group in case Dave doesn't spread the word.
that sucks. hope it turns up
Rob Rockcrawler 10-29-2010, 03:24 PM Did he happen to lose a pair of pliers over there? Looks like they got ripped off of a belt. They got tangled around my foot, pretty cool find, but i would like to get them back to the owner if they are his.

No, but one of the guys staying in our house did lose his pliers. Not sure of the details on them, but I will let him know you found a pair and see if they are a match.
Rob Rockcrawler 10-30-2010, 11:15 PM This is pretty cool. The owner contacted me, and they are a match. Gotta love S-B.
agsurfr 10-31-2010, 06:38 AM Thanks Toby and Rob--Seems like a ridiculous long shot for my pliers to have been found and then wind up heading back to me, but that's what's happening.
Really appreciate your integrity. Got to earn some good juju

JohnR 11-11-2010, 04:35 PM Let this stay stuck a few more days before retiring this thread. Not likely to show up now, is it?

Sounds good John. Just happy this thread at least reconnected Aram and his pliers.
