The short answer is YES!
But..if you follow Paypal's directions on shipping the item insured for the payment received with a required signature of the person who has the Paypal account, you will be increasing your odds.
As an alternative, You may tell the buyer that you can only ship to a U.S.A. address and ask if they have a contact here who can accept and sign for the package.
I use Ebay and if the item is worth more than $500 I won't ship overseas.

Don't see the problem as long as you don't ship until payment is in your account.

Pay pal is probably your safest way to get paid,

Anyone who thinks paypal is safe to take as payment just needs to visit PayPal Alternative - Pay Pal Lawsuits, PayPal Complaints & Fraud (http://www.paypalsucks.com) or google paypal fraud.......

Like I said...run. Unless you know the person or they have a VERY good feedback somewhere...

I think we'll pass. Its a nice piece of furniture but it will cost them a bundle to ship the thing.

Thanks

I will put a GW on it that it was a scam to begin with. No-one in their right mind would ship something like that. They're just looking for the best bang for the scam buck. You would have lost in it. I hate these slugs.

It's an amoire.

No-one in their right mind would ship something like that.
Agree, unless it's a very rare and expensive piece.

Salty said it, why would anyone in their right mind pay to ship such a thing.

The rules for Cragslist are really simple. Cash and in person...no exceptions.

well there's another RULE('s) i follow
with Craig's List...

I won't go see anything unless they post a Picture
because otherwise it's a wild goose chase

or if i cannot call them or get an email returned saying ok
it's yours when ya get here... ten to one it's GONE
(like when just an address is posted)

because the response time to Craig's list is super short
like less than ten minutes if that. (usually)
