Vision was blurry and the world was spinning :rotf2: This time of year stinks for one thing...frisky bees. Bastid landed right on my shoulder and bit me on the neck. Had another in the shop today taking a nap on a piece of wood. I HOPE YOUR o.K. PRBuzz 10-27-2010, 04:53 PM If from a single sting you show heightened sensitivity (maybe to s single type of bee?) and should think about keeping an epi pen close by? Resource: Bee Sting -- Bee Sting Allergy (http://allergies.about.com/od/insectallergies/a/venomallergy.htm) Most people who are stung by these insects will develop a reaction at the site of the sting that will cause pain, swelling, redness and itching. A smaller percent of people -- about 10 to 15% -- also will experience larger areas of swelling, and the swelling can last up to a week. Rarer still are people who have full-blown allergic reactions that cause anaphylaxis. About .5% of children and 3% of adults will experience anaphylaxis after a stinging insect bite.
