Anyone else followed it ?
Said it many times, Jerry Rice one of the greatest football players ever, guess many other agreed.
Opinions/thoughts ???
Thought Barry Sanders was too low on the list as he dominated his games all alone with a sucky team unlike many on the list who benifited from their great team (Emmitt Smith & Irving)

I have no argument with that list at all! I do agree Sanders was AWESOME and maybe deserved a higher ranking and that does come from the market he was in and the lackluster team he toiled for! Rice was awesome.....best receiver ever by a wide margin and also.....one the the best guys in the game! I notice Randy made the list and TO did not?? I have no problem with that!:uhuh: Brady could have been higher but I can wait until his career is over to judge that given he has only been playing 10 years. However he does have the highest winning percentage for QB's!

I also see they snuck Joe Namath in under the wire.....he sucked!!

Sanders probably ranked lower because he retired to early....still had a few good years left in him....if he played longer he would have probably been ranked higher.

He was also the #3 Running Back on the list behind Jim Brown and Walter Peyton.....can't really argue that

Reggie White #7 ? Top 30, yes, but #7?

Manning, 8 ?:yak5:

Personally, I would have rated Deacon Jones ahead of White, but the rules were different---in Jones' day, offensive linemen couldn't extend their arms to block. But there was less blitzing then, and Jones often was double-teamed by a RB.

And Willie Lanier deserves to be ranked higher than 53.

Brett Favre ahead of Brady and Marino is questionable too...

Brett Favre owns most of the records Marino once had! He also has a Superbowl ring where Marino does not! I think that is a justified ranking....like Favre or not (Ronnie)!:jump1:

Problem is with Favre I'm guessing he owns just as many of the records you wouldn't want to own. Fumbles, pics, etc.

The streak is unquestionably a great accomplishment though considering the pain and addiction he endured to keep it alive.

Would have been interesting to see Marino having Desmond Howard running back kick off and punt returns (the reason Favre got that super bowl ring)
Having Reggie White & Sean Jones on the D line wouldn't have hurt also !

Deion, Warner, and Strahan don't belong on that list IMO.

murderers like Simpson and Lewis shouldn't be on the list either but they are...........

I reject that list :yak5:

I also think OJ is a POS but the list is for NFL football players not what kind of people they are off the field and OJ was one of the best off the 70s, and just like Barry Sanders, he was the only thing the team had going for it.

ya I know

and Lewis will get in the hall too
but Pete Rose won't get in since he bet on baseball and denied it

it's just a list, doesn't mean much, just a bunch of guys opinions is all

Lewis didn't murder anyone,it was his pal.If your pal murders somebody, you are not responsible. I believe he may have been an accomplice, which he stood trial for and was aquitted. This was not an oj style case at all.He belongs on the list if LT does.

Bet they could do a "Top 100 Douche'-Bags of the NFL" and fill it out quite easily!:rotf2::rotf2::rotf2:

Not sure I remember the details correctly, but I think he took the knife off the guy who did the stabbing and got rid of it.

At worst, that's accessory after the fact. In some places, it would be simple tampering with evidence.

I think the overall 100 is pretty good but some of the rankings are strange. Rice above Montana? Brown not number one? Like most , I hate OJ but he was a great running back , much better than #40.

Manning is ranked way too high, unbelieveable.

As said above , just some opinions , we all have our favorites.

Brady should have been higher than Manning on superbowl wins alone. That list is skewed.

Brady is on the list where he belongs, below Manning.
Brady will get higher on that list when he's done.

I don't worry about the placement of still active players......Manning is not as good as Brady in my mind! They are close but.....Brady has the edge....he has 3 rings!:uhuh: Higher winning percentage regular season and post season!:uhuh::uhuh:

2 completely different teams.

Pats are a complete team.
Colts are Manning and a handful of other guys.
Maybe they should have Vinatieri on that 100 list, he's got 4 rings and without him the Brady may not have 2 of those rings :uhuh:
Not knocking Brady , I think he's awesome (though his game seems to have really slipped the past 3 seasons) but he doesn't carry the team like Marring has had to his whole career.
Pats proved this with Brady out for a season and Cassel playing for the year.

BigFish

Complete team maybe but it is what it is Ronnie! Paint it with what ever brush you want! Brady has also had a greater influx of receivers to get used to....he hits more different receivers than Manning does, he has had different running backs and his defense has been in flux the past few seasons! Not to mention he plays his home games outdoors......come on Ronnie give the guy props.....even though he wears a Pats uni and you can't stand it!

those are worse than fractures
