The internet is abuzz with a story that Keith Olbermann (the howling-at-the-moon, foaming-at-the-mouth lunatic an MSNBC) was canned for donating to political campaigns, which violates some policy at NBC?

Good riddance.

The question is, given his ratings, will anyone notice? Remember the question, if a tree falls in the forest, and no one is there to hear it...

FOX will give him 2 million bucks to add some balance :)

I read that it's an "indefinite suspension without pay" just a little while ago. It's for violating the "ethics policy" at NBC. If he ends up fired, he'll pop up somewhere else, as this defintitely isn't a career ending event. He's a pompous, liberal elitist jerkwad, but people watch his show for some reason.

Maybe they'll replace him with John Hinckley...he'd fit in there...

I saw some of MSNBC;s election coverage...I saw Keith Olbermann, his nephew Rachael Maddow, Chris Matthews, Lawrence O'Donnell...I swear, if they had loud violin music, I would have thought I was watching the opening scene from "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest".

the might have more "issues" than the republican party

On Friday’s “Morning Joe” MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell made a startling admission: “I am a socialist.”

The statement from the regular host of “The Last Word” came as he was chiding contributor Glenn Greenwald from Salon.com for apparently being a liberal hiding behind the word “progressive.”

“I am a socialist. I live to the extreme left, the extreme left of you mere liberals,” O'Donnell said:

Next you are going to tell me Beck, Hannity and O'Riely skew to the right.
No Way!

O'Donnel conducts a heck of an interview, whatever his politics.

I'm pretty sure that all three would enthusiastically admit this....not sure what that point would be....

on the other hand, it's nice to see some honesty from some of these "journalists" and political analysts that claim to have no agenda and are supposedly unbiased, I don't really care if they do, just don't smirk and say that you don't

Lawrence O'Donnell doesn't claim to be a "journalist". He's a political analyst.

noone quoted the post regarding Likwid that you relplied to... which is why I was surprised:bounce:
maybe you are clairvoyant:spin:

I said O'Donnell...not Olbermann, Olbermann has always been an a-hol%....not even leaning... and I don't think he's come out of the closet as O'Donnell has...are you and Spence smoking from the same bong tonight?

are you suggesting that there is any question about the political skewings of "Beck, Hannity and O'Riely"

if we're lucky someone will quote this so that you can read it and maybe even reply:bounce:

From Wiki. I don't have time to do to MSNBC, I'm going fishing.

Lawrence Francis O'Donnell, Jr. (born November 7,[1] 1951) is an American political analyst for the cable news channel MSNBC, who has appeared on The McLaughlin Group, The Al Franken Show, and Countdown with Keith Olbermann.

To the folks here who think Lawrence O'Donnell is all that and a bag of chips...

O'Donnell is a bitter, angry, howling-at-the-moon, foaming-at-the-mouth lunatic.

On election night, just for ha'ha's, I turned on MSNBC to hear the spin. For 5 straight minutes, I listened to O'Donnell and Olbermann make fun of Haley Barbour (Mississippi GOP governor) for being fat. They thought they were being hysterical.

That's news? Find me footage of Bill O'reilly doing that please, I dare you.
