View Full Version : Season Highs and Lows! BigFish 11-08-2010, 10:07 AM Curious what the high point or crowning achievement of your season was and what the lowpoint or disappointments were?? Did you accomplish all you wanted to??? Or not?? Lets hear it!!:uhuh: Rockfish9 11-08-2010, 10:12 AM I made it home safe after each trip... that is the high light of EVERY season for me...every fish I catch is a bonus... BigFish 11-08-2010, 10:16 AM My highpoint was that I got to fish with almost everyone on my "I Want To Fish With....." list! Also fished with alot of great folks who were not on the list but was glad I got the opportunity to fish with so many fellow S-B'ers! I would say my favorite part of this season was getting so many fellow kayakers together and all of the fun trips we went on! Next season we will do many more!:uhuh: Best moment was getting my first striper from the yak and doing it doubled up with Tagger who was on his first as well! (That was fun Eddie!:uhuh:) The fact that it was a nice 22 pounder on one of my plugs really made it special as well! My biggest disappointments for this season was, again, did not find the fish I was hoping to find. (Wait till next year):( The only person who was on my list that I did not get to fish with was Rockfish9 and it was not for lack of opportunity.....I was invited and I just could not make it as I had a certain tide I wanted to catch! Hopefully we will get that crossed off the list next season Joe! I can't wait for next season already!:uhuh: Fishoholic 11-08-2010, 11:16 AM This year was pretty epic for me. I was able to break my PB from shore twice. Caught my first bass on one of my own plugs. Met a lot of good people this year and made several new great friends. Finally figured out how to jig the ditch. The only thing close to a low this year has been fall toggin from shore. I haven't been out much but when I have there wasn't much but "just under"s around. Still though..I can't complain :) niko 11-08-2010, 11:16 AM on the downside i did not trailer south as much as i would have liked - no funny fish, fluke or seabass trips sadly. but on the good side - i spent alot of time offshore. first year of sharking and that went well, hung around 60. got an early start on tuna and pounded groundfish all year. spent alot of time catching with the boy from shore so that was great. looking forward to a few more tog/tuna trips and then learning how to ice fish this winter luds 11-08-2010, 12:22 PM High point= 38# fish in a scary swell. Exciting and felt like an accomplishment. Low point= Watching a 37# fish I caught and released float back in belly up. RIJIMMY 11-08-2010, 12:30 PM Highs - This year I took the kids for squid and had a blast Learned how to fluke from a good guy on this board Learned how to fish for blackfish and had a blast Fished the canal more than ever, about 8 trips. Never caught a damn thing but saw a mola break the surface and saw some beautiful mornings. learned a few things by watching others Lows - I did not do a single thing right chasing stripers. Never got into any spring time top water action no matter how much water I covered. Bunker bite never happened for me, had bait but couldnt get a bass. Eels at night from July through Sept - very limited success. I did better in the past from shore the wind in Sept and Oct kept me off the water a lot. I blame myself, some guys had an incredible year, I went right, fish went left. Past 3 seasons I had well over 100 bluefish without even trying, I just would run into them and kill an hour or so having fun. This year.....2 bluefish ALL SEASON. Very disappointing year for me but you never learn anything if you are always successful. I have a bunch of new things to try out next year. Have to learn to fish deep off the reefs. FishChick 11-08-2010, 01:12 PM My highs: I got to fish with my husband this year and I actually caught fish . I met and got to know a bunch of great guys during our Kayaking trips. Really fun!! :wiggle: My lows: Didn't catch any fish in my Kayak - next year :uhuh: tysdad115 11-08-2010, 01:38 PM First high point was fishing with my son. Taking him to a pond near home teaching him how to cast accurately and far. Watching him make his first casts in the ditch, waking him up at 2am to go fishing. Being there watching him catch his first schoolie, then his first keeper (tough explaining why we had to let it go if it was a keeper). In short, nothing I've done compares to watching him develop. He has fished with a few guys here as well, more will meet him. On a personal note this is my first season really hitting it hard. Had some great days, PB of 40#, alot of blitzes. Had some terrible days injuries, couldnt tie a knot to save my life, etc. Fished with some great guys at the ditch, really want to get out in the surf next year. Overall greatful for the past year, and looking forward to many more. Jackbass 11-08-2010, 02:11 PM High Points there were a few. Finally putting in some serious time on the Lower cape and catching fish many nights(thanks to a pointer from a friend) while I heard how bad the fishing was every morning from others. Driving out on the beach with my wife setting her up in a chair on the beach and catching a blue on my first cast of the day. Her reaction "OMG you really do know how to fish" I didn't tell her that catching blue fish is similar to going to a trout farm with a hand line and corn kernels. Not that she would know the difference between a trout and a bluefish. Low point - There are no low points fishing eve when I got the skunk I was still happy to be out fishing. bart 11-08-2010, 02:53 PM my highpoint of the season was fishing the spring run with some good friends. this was my first season with a canal bike and now i can't imagine fishing the ditch without one. also, caught first ever tog from the shore and it was a keeper. thanks chef. would like to do more of that next year.... low point was not fishing as much as usual. missed a lot of action because I just didn;t have the drive. also, not having a canal bike for the second half of the season sucked. Can't wait for the spring run. On a side note, chasing tail season just started for me and i'm already off to a good start :uhuh: inTHERAPY 11-08-2010, 04:36 PM Highs: best cod fishing trip i've ever seen with 6 limits in about 3 hours, early season blue fin fishing where we had 2 nice hook-ups but, none landed, a best 3 fluke over 30" on board, a best seabass to nearly 6 pounds, 6 bass over 40 pounds, a yellowfin trip on a custom carolina boat where we boated 16 yellows in the 60# - 90# range, 5 tog over 10 pounds on board, fishing with a few friends I have always promised but never taken, learning some new techniques, JAWS blanks lows: realizing, too late, this kind of fishing my dad had wanted to do besides striper fishing, my kids still don't like fishing or boating, 3 weeks vacation with 3 seperate motor problems each week, it's ending american spirit 11-08-2010, 04:48 PM highs: a couple 30#'s in august fishing alone. 1 during a noreaster on wood. another habby customer. :) makes me feel like i kind of know what i'm doing if i can produce without relying on someone else for information. lows: a couple 30#'s in august fishing alone. takes the wind out of your sail if you've got noone to enjoy the moment with. parenthood made my schedule super restrictive this year. Piscator 11-08-2010, 05:01 PM High's: Taking my 3 year old daughter freshwater fishing and watching her catch her first Largemouth, Getting a new boat, Niko showing me the ropes on Sharking, Hooking up to my first tuna on my OWN boat, getting to know more guys on the site. Low's: Wind in September, Getting my Dad sea sick, Loosing the first Tuna I hooked up to on my OWN boat, realizing I need a lot more gear....... chefchris401 11-08-2010, 05:44 PM Highs: Breaking my personal best 4 times this, twice the same day on back to back cast at the ditch, thats one day I wont soon forget, watching my pb swim away, fishing with good reliable and knowledgeable people, My first trip to cutty, new friends, getting my boss his first striper which just happened to be a keeper, catching more fish more often, getting skunked less, good gear purchases, not fishing from a boat once, less nagging/compalining from the girlfriend. Lows: dads health issues: fell 24 feet and compressed two discs and broke his arm, then recovered only to get lyme disease and be in and out of hospital for 4 months, losing what was probably the biggest fish of my life that night still haunts me, falling in newport hard. Building my own plugs which were duds. Overall this was my best and most productive season ever. More fish than ever, more trips than ever, and more traveling to fish and new friends for the surf. Rob Rockcrawler 11-08-2010, 07:08 PM This has been a very good season to me, lots of large. The only low for the year really was not getting out as much as i would have liked. But the times i did go out were really good, except 5 trips in august. That was a tough month. If i had to pick a high it was a couple weeks ago on block. Got into some good fish, the fishing slowed down and had a good time hanging with the block island crew. Zeno 11-08-2010, 07:52 PM Larry, you were there for my high point so i don't need to rehash it...low point, leaving the beach two weeks ago before it blew up with fish in 40's that hurt striperman36 11-08-2010, 07:56 PM Lows: Not able to start fishing until Aug 1st due to work having me full time in DC for 4 mos. Not being on the Bigfish must fish with list Not catching a single bass over 20 lbs in the 6 weeks I actually did fish before the wind started up again. Highs; Fishing with PRBUZZ WESTPORTMAFIA 11-08-2010, 08:06 PM Highpoint= Had a good season and caught many fish in the hot summer. Lowpoints = Getting surgery to remove a bass spine from my foot 2 weeks after it entered my foot. And wiping my behind with a used slimy 8x8 inch eel rag. PRBuzz 11-08-2010, 08:50 PM I'll let you know, season ain't over! Still higher highs and lower lows possible. quick decision 11-08-2010, 09:34 PM Learning more and more about the canal and catching my personal best this September. Lows- not getting out to Montauk this year. Mike P 11-08-2010, 09:39 PM High point was the best summer fishing in the Canal since I was a kid. The low point was 9/18/2010. :( JohnR 11-08-2010, 09:43 PM Season isn't over but I've been in a low for 3-4 weeks now not getting out :wall: High - my kid :kewl: Low - have to agree with Mike. Hate that. iamskippy 11-08-2010, 11:06 PM Highlights 1) Catching an Albie from shore, was a first for me 2) Getting to ring a 10# dinner bell while wearing a fire watch helm for breakfast at the bourne camp ground at 9am and waking people up 3) Getting my first ditch keeper striper - Pluggin 4) Getting my first ditch keeper striper - Jiggin 5) fishing the Haba for the first time with a pro angler ( niko ) 6) increadable year for sunsets! 7) Learning a ton about the Ditch from Andy and watching his son fish, he was remarkable for his age. Lowlights cant think of anything that would be a low light the highlights shadow any and all the bad things that may have happen. Raven 11-09-2010, 05:32 AM My highs: I got to fish with my husband this year and I actually caught fish . better luck next year Fish Chick http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/ravenob1/FC.png BassDawg 11-09-2010, 06:13 AM it AIN'T OVAH, yet!!! ~~will respond in a coupla weeks~~ :grins: :grins: :grins: afterhours 11-09-2010, 07:21 AM highs were #38 on cutty and incredible june on ditch... lows were 9/18, skunked on cutty in sept (first time ever), and not fishing with some friends... BigFish 11-09-2010, 07:31 AM :( bloocrab 11-09-2010, 07:48 AM High Point(s) for me were the quality time(s) spent with my father on the water this past season, giving him the opportunity to get his PB from my skiff, and then being mentally able to put the "Big Fish Hunt" aside and chase bottom fish with him. 'Continuing to see how we've exchanged roles, with me now constantly worrying about him while we're fishing, and me being the one trying to put him on fish and making that the focus of my trip. Being able to stop casting just to watch his expression the day we were sitting in my skiff TOTALLY surrounded by busting beauties. Watching him not know where to cast was hysterical...the laughs we shared were priceless. I am SO looking forward to next season as this one's gotten too cold for him now. Also looking forward to getting 3 generations in my skiff next year as well. Can that really be a "High" for this year?? I guess it does, because the thought continues to excite me. I can HONESTLY say, catching a 90# Bass tonight, would still fall 2nd to the time spent with him this past season. Enjoy your parents while you can. Low Points,,,...1. Not making it to the Vineyard this year w/Rick and Milo, even though the fish were scarce, it's always a good time.:jump1: 2. Also missed fishing with my buddy Goose this year... :( ...hopefully we'll rectify that next year. 3. Going to numerous spots this year where I normally find solitude, only to find more people than the spot could handle...and blaming others for having a big mouth when it's really out of my control. 4. Typing this as if I'm done for the year....:devil2:...>>> :hs: >>> Edits forth-coming....... BigBo 11-09-2010, 08:31 AM Highs; Fishing on my boat with my grandson and my father. with my grandson getting a 32# on his own (a little coaching but it was all him). That was a most memorable day for all of us. Especially my Dad fishing with his great-grandson. Kayaking/fishing with several excellent S-B'ers. Thanks for bringing us all together Larry. Looking forward to much more next season. Lows; Not enough kayak fish and the ones I landed were all dinks. Lousy fall fishing for me this year. Started out great, but really petered out for me after Labor Day. zimmy 11-09-2010, 09:02 AM Highs- Snotty august night with a fish on nearly every cast for 4+ hours. Nothing under 37" and the majority over 40". Waited a long time for a night like that. Lows- knowing this is the curtain call for my paternal grandfather, who is directly and indirectly responsible for many of the great hobbies and places I have enjoyed in my life. JoeBass 11-09-2010, 09:13 AM Highs: -Fishing with my son, 17 yo. - Catching 9-10 lbers in the Maine surf on the fly rod. With the sun coming up over the edge of the ocean. Lows: Telling 3 separate guys to "back the ef up" as they came and stood on top of me because I had caught a fish. Really bugged me. Almost came to blows. fishbones 11-09-2010, 12:04 PM Overall this has been my best year yet, so far. I still plan on doing quite a bit more fishing if the weather allows. I'm pretty sure I got my pb from shore (although I didn't weigh or measure it) and caught and released more nice fish this season than probably the last 4 seasons combined. This is probably due to me fishing more this year than I have in the past 7 or 8 years. I only got out on the boat 3 times and only one trip was for bass, but I fished a ton from shore and even learned to enjoy fishing the canal. Highs were getting out a lot and meeting and fishing with people from this site. I also did 2 of the Kayak Scrambles (thanks, BigFish!), which were great. I'm looking forward to lots more next year. I learned enough about fishing the canal to want to learn more next year and I even made a half a$$ canal bike. I tried some new techniques this year and they definitely paid off for me with some really nice fish. And my biggest high of this season was getting out on the boat with my 5 year old son and dad for some bottom fishing fun. There are never many lows for me when it comes to fishing, but there were a couple of things that could have been better this year. I didn't fish nearly as much with my dad as I usually do, although I did get him on his first canal bass in about 50 years. I only got out with RIJIMMY once, but hopefully we'll get a chance to fish together this weekend. I wasn't able to get Spence away from his GQ magazines to get him out, but I'll keep working on him for next spring. :uhuh: Swimmer 11-09-2010, 01:13 PM Really, meeting and seeing so many people here. I get to meet them all personally, because I fish so much with Bigfish, and knows freikin everyone. I have trouble remembering their real names and he knows both the screen name here, the screen name on SOL, their dates of birth and their favorite colors, because they all order wood from him. One fish in particular stands out. Their were many others in the low 30 # range and even more 20 #ers, many of which became dinner fare. Next year I have a goal of winning a monthly in the Cup. So now that I have said it, I wont catch a fish over 10 #'s next year. Driving off the ferry in Vineyard Haven with my brother, Squid Kids Dad, for our annual sojourn across the sands of Martha's Vineyard. Buying gas, paying for Chappy ferry tickets every day, spending time with Bubba, Ronny, Keving, Sharkman, and every other person who is chasing the Holy Grail of fish on the Vineyard who thinks a person fishing on Chappy is going to catch it fishing from the beaches of Chappy. Stopping at Larry's and finding your the first person to open the cooler filled to the brim with fresh butterfish. Getting to first dibs is really special. Walking the beach under the lighthouse with the gale force winds shooting sand from behind you into the back of your neck so hard it really friekin hurt. And trying to work a plug parralell to the wind and get a decent workable cast. Joining the Gibbs Classic club along with 18 other new members last spring. Enjoying a great barbecue that is part of the joining festivities that day at the Bource Campground. Letting the canal become ground zero for the majority of my fishing pleasure. It is not easy fishing there, but it can be rewarding if you put your time. Looking forward to fishing next year with wood I made. Caught fish with some of my stuff this year, but my plugs need honing. 2011 Jackbass 11-09-2010, 01:16 PM And wiping my behind with a used slimy 8x8 inch eel rag. You need to start wearing socks, lol Clogston29 11-09-2010, 01:51 PM highs - having a kid fishing highs - august new moon was good. nothing crazy, but a few really good nights. its really the only time i got out with any consistency all year since i took a few days off from work for it. fishing lows - the weather and my schedule never really cooperated in september and october. Striper_Haven_03 11-09-2010, 05:57 PM High: Catching and releasing back to back PBs (45 &46#s) and watching my fishing partner become more excited than me once each was weighed. I have the best fishing partner anyone could ask for and his humor and friendship keeps things interesting even on slow nights. Low: Watching a fish waaaaaay bigger than the 46 (got close look at it w/ headlamp) break off very close to shore. This still hurts very badly and cant seem to get it out of my mind.I often think of what I could have done different in the last 15 seconds of fighting. I had 33 nights in the surf in 50 days and fished hard this year....it just hurts. ivanputski 11-09-2010, 06:07 PM highlights: *August FULL moon... (killer!) *8 block surf trips *Almost tripled the number of keepers compared to last year *66 nights fished *5 fish over 31 pounds *Lost count of 20 #'ers *Fished with new people. (Thumper has a great attitude & is great to fish with) *Met all my goals... ALL while being a father to 16 month old and doing a master's degree!!! Low points: *slow pick on mainland due to warm water in july.august, hence the 8 block trips) *Last few outings! *losing two 30#+ fish on consecutive casts at dead low tide on the same boulder.... (ouch!) *Still no confidence in bucktail jigs... maybe because I took 15 casts with them all season! Raven 11-09-2010, 08:01 PM I often think of what I could have done different in the last 15 seconds of fighting Watching a fish bigger than the 46 break off very close to shore. It still hurts. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/ravenob1/said.png well it never goes away really ...it only gets easier to make sense of it over time it's the yin and yang of life ....the opposite of catching moosh 11-09-2010, 08:12 PM Good time fishing Canal , got some big fish from the Rocks .Low No Albies this year . blondterror 11-09-2010, 08:34 PM Highs: two incredible clear July nights kayak fishing on joppa with eels catching PB fish with other yak fisherman catching my 1st BFT with Buzz in October learning how well eels work when slow trolling behind the yak at night Lows Not putting my brother into fish when we kayak fished barnstable harbor one summer night in August No Block trip this year intrepid24 11-09-2010, 09:17 PM the high ; watching my 5 yr old daughter catch a snapper blue herself ! Also a PB on fluke(29.5") fishing w/ a good friend was awesome. BROKE THE NET !!!! the low ; breaking off something really big early in the season inexpicably, while using fresh 50lb braid. pain+suffering. RickBomba 11-09-2010, 09:46 PM All lows for me...spent the whole spring/summer paying off my truck only to have my truck get sideswiped in Wellfleet center about a week after paying her off. Luckily the damage is not so bad and can be repaired. It was a tough year for me, but looking forward to some great ice fishing to come. I have lots of payment free dreams for next year! Later, Rick Raider Ronnie 11-09-2010, 11:17 PM Season isn't over bassballer 11-10-2010, 08:10 AM Highs - Bought our first house in May (which will be a low as well). Fishing with some good people and some good fisherman. Lucky to be able to fish with some good experiernced anglers here and there, and occasionally get into some nice fish. The amount of bait locally really made for some great fall fishing. Some great beach blitzes 2 minutes from the house. You cant beat that. Lows- Didnt get to really put in real hard hours in the surf. The first 2 1/2 months of this summer after working on the house I was to tired to fish. I was mostly just heading out for an hour or so. Ill make up for it next season. Striper_Haven_03 11-10-2010, 05:26 PM well it never goes away really ...it only gets easier to make sense of it over time it's the yin and yang of life ....the opposite of catching Yes, I understand what your saying and such is life I guess. . I do know what I did wrong and made that correction on the 2 PBs I caught a few days AFTER losing her. Never, ever fish a spot without an good place to land. I follow this rule 99.9% of the time and for some reason that night @ 1am..."oh Ill fish this rock over here, no good place to land but I'll worry about it later". All I really had to do was move 15 ft to the right while the fish was on would have had no problems landing as she was licked, laying on her side 10-12' ft away from where I was standing (had head lamp on her for about 5 seconds)...but after 1-2 minutes of trying to get my footing/finding a spot to land, she got her shoulders back, pulled hard, swinging parallel with the shore right through a large boulder-field into old dilapidated mussel bed, and well..."it just hurts". Both the 45+46 were caught in the same location where I lost this one (if I had to guess size Id say well over 50, maybe close to 55,but I was tired,1am in total darkness so take that for whats its worth) and where each fish struck was probably not 5 ft from one-another. I was just fishing to the right "15ft" where shallow water prevails and had access without falling into a hole 8-10' deep in waders @ 1am. Ill get my redemption, its just a matter of time. Cant stand the wait though. Now I can only dream as the water gets colder. robalomann5 12-01-2010, 09:48 PM high points learning to trust using a needlefish lure, slow and slower is killa' (finally learning some patience) found some hot blackfish spots in smithtown bay, 10 minutes from my launch spot may/june fluking low point july/august fluking...heat was killer breaking off some sweat lures only because of a cracked guide on my pole...more of a reason to keep building high winds this fall...will it ever stop blowing???? Very Low Point: 9/2/10 at 9:30 PM shortly after getting out on the rocks fell and broke 4 ribs. No fishing for the next 10-days. Sea Flat 12-03-2010, 12:44 PM High point was the fish in the picture. Nothing huge, but it was the first week of May. I think I was one of the first people in MA to catch a 20 lb. fish last season. Low points - 1. My boat was out of commission for all of July. 2. I did not land my first BFT like I hoped. 3. The Elizabeth Island fishing was the worst it has been in years. MAKAI 12-03-2010, 06:50 PM Dawg, I gotta tell ya, I love you. Didn't catch one thing but made me feel like a million bucks that they didn't mind spending some time with me, at that age, while on vacation. Low- Son is still a baby and cant come out with me yet. I talk to him all the time about it though. Got to fish with a few great dudes from the site. Learned a ton this year and was able to put a lot in perspective. DJ's class really helped me to look at things a different way and get out of some bad habbits. Nothing for me was really a low, I try to learn something from every outing either why the fish were or weren't there. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device Duke41 12-06-2010, 08:36 AM I only went fishing one time and caught zip. JohnnySaxatilis 12-06-2010, 11:31 AM Highpoint= Had a good season and caught many fish in the hot summer. Lowpoints = Getting surgery to remove a bass spine from my foot 2 weeks after it entered my foot. And wiping my behind with a used slimy 8x8 inch eel rag. i thought he was messin with me when chris told me that ha High: sure was. fishin with a lot of good people, putting approximately a billion miles on my car traveling from boston to the cape and back along the southern coast of ma and ri this season. keeping track of where and when pretty effectively. Delivering fish to people mainly family and cookin up some good dishes. Specifically one day in september on the cape: perfect weather in the afternoon. t shirt and shades, shorts and water shoes, crazy blue and bass blitz action using my light rod fighting fish all afternoon. watching plugs seemingly explode on the water with my good buddie from high school. then going home and eating what was swimming an hour before. good times Lows: only fishing on nantucket one day with no success due to a rediculous work schedule. Bustin my balls at the canal in the twilight only to leave for work at 6am before it blew up countless times during mid summer. :wall: my rod exploding in my hands during awesome action with a crazy swell with a fish hooked at my feet. falling.... a lot. usually in front of friends for their enjoyement:jump1: stinkyink 12-08-2010, 06:52 PM Highs for me would have to be getting a call from ivanputski at 1am to get my a$$ out of bed on that august full moon night.:uhuh: Thanks for doing that dude. Great memories on that night. Also meeting a great fisherman from NY on BI. Thanks for taking time to share some of your knowledge with me and sending me all those sweet plugs. Lows for the season I would have to say would be not taking enough trips out to BI.:wall: Overall can't really complain got into alot of great fish and got to fish with some great people. Good tides and tight lines. redlite 12-09-2010, 03:13 PM Well now that it is officially over, I can finally give my take. Was overall a pretty good year for size and numbers. Due to having to get a real job, fished less than I can ever remember fishin in a season. Put a seriuos hurt on my soul. But when I did get out, I had that lucky horseshoe up my arse. Fewer and a lot less productive trips to my island this year. Highlight for me without a doubt was in July, I was at a yard sale in Plymouth with my Dad pickin up a lawnmower when the conversation turned to fishing. The guy said that his elderly father was quite the fisherman back in the day, having won the canal tounament several times. Well this old man skulked out of the shadows and when we got to talking it was incredible to see that twinkle in his eyes reminiscing about days of old of catchin supa cows all the time. Running from Plum Island to Chatham. The life that seemed to be breathed back into him was amazing to witness as we traded old war stories. I told him about never catchin a 40#+ fish in the canal yet, and low and behold, that nite I got that 47# fish that is now sitting on my ping pong table. Was a treat to meet and talk with him as the dread of not being able to fish at free will like I do now sets in. Was able to make it through the season on limited gear and funds. Operation Live Well was a huge sucess on all fronts. Managed to stay married (barely) Spent more time doin other things besides fishin all summer. Without a doubt the lowest point was helplessly watchin Bob go. Sights and sounds of that nite will haunt both myself and my fishin partner for the rest of our days. Had some great laughs, times, and heartbreaks over the season fishin with my usual crew (Dan, Tbag, Lucini and even a guest appearence from Krispy and Toby). Disappointed I didn't get Tbag out swimmin and again didn't make it down to see TC on the back side. Hopefully next year before there are no more years left. A happy winter to all. See you at TCTFN. stiff tip 12-09-2010, 03:43 PM highs would be catching and SELLING my first keeper bass of the season and lows would be only having 6wks to catch kill and sell them bastages.....on bait with treble hooks yoyoing pogieswith umbreller rigs:wall: JohnnyD 12-09-2010, 03:47 PM Biggest high for me this year was meeting and having the pleasure of fishing with a handful of new people this year. All great people and I look forward to fishing with them more next year. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
