Is four wheel drive necessary for the beach clean-up

I've been out to Duxbury beach a couple times this year, it looks good, they haven't lifted the chains to access the beach, so the only traffic I've seen is the giant dump trucks delivering piles of sand from Marshfield. I'll try and get out there early on Saturday with the kids, but I've got to be back home by 11am for a b-day party. I'll be in a blue cherokee (not too many cherokees on duxbury beach :D )

I took my boys (2 + 4yrs)yesterday morning from 8 - 9:30, we filled a bag in no time, all I did was drive the 4 year old did all the work . :D now to get him behind the lawn mower.

I have been to Sandy Neck but not to Chapin Beach. Can someone give me directions from route 3A? I may attend this Saturday.

Thanks for the welcome and the directions to Chapin. I will be there on Saturday and I will look for you. I drive a green Explorer with 8 rocket launchers on the roof.

No Prob - hope this helps get the word out a little...

I'll come to the nauset and p-town clean-ups. I always bring a trash bag whenever I go just to take away more than I bring. It disgusts me at what some "people" will leave on the beach
