He's a free agent and sox did not offer arbitration. Globe says they may try and get him down from the 3 million last year

Hopefully the Sox know something we don't. A switch hitting catcher who plays 1st and is a good clubhouse guy does sound like a keeper. The big knock on v-mart is his inability to throw out base runners. With the speed on the Yankees and Rays maybe that's why he wasn't signed.
With the hit NESN took in ratings last year, you've got to figure an all-star will be signed.

Hopefully Henry will spend the extra cash during the upcoming club transfer window! Liverpool needs some players with more creativity. They could use another goal scorer to compliment Gerrard and Torres.

The Sox are tired already.

Anyone ever stop to consider that Theo's "genius" was mainly due to the "training habits" of Manny and Papi?

They're staring 4th place dead in the face right now.

And baseball is not a game, it's a business? You think John Henry in it for the game?

Oh and Jeter's available. But he don't play catch

yeah a head scratch er for sure . Have to see how this plays out. I hope they are not intending to have the man with the longest name in baseball be their everyday catcher though. 4th place Mike ?, in East ,that is kind of a stretch. Maybe in American League but I still think it is too early for that kind of prediction with the potential their pitching has, note potential. Going to be interesting though. Maybe they will throw the kitchen sink at Crawford this off season. Be nice to have 2 speedsters in the lineup especially if 1 in particular can stay healthy.

You don't win games/titles with potential, you win it with the here and now. Potential is for later and for excuses!:uhuh:
