Can anyone recommend a patent attorney?

In what technical area should the PA have expertise? Some do tend to specialize in a area. I'll send you one I've worked with by PM.

This was one of my ideas and I was almost done with the prototype and before I finished some one got a patent so I put it aside. It's a remote release lobster pot buoy that is attached to the trap and eliminates the line in the water column. It also eliminates the loss of gear due to the line being severed or caught by barges and eliminates the damage caused by the pots being bounced against the bottom due to storms and wave action and protects the whales from becoming entangled. I have even considered using it for traps in the ditch. I have thought about improvements since and may one day revisit the idea. This was in 2003
