Boy oh boy would solve the problem of rushing to the shop before it closes to grab some eels! ... Would be great to have access to live eels at 2am. Only problem I see is putting in 18 bucks, and getting a dozen shoe strings...

Diggin Jiggin 12-06-2010, 06:51 PM When I first moved to plymouth like 15 years ago there was a bait machine down on the waterfront that had them. They were in little sytrofoam conatiners and there were 2 or 3 per container.
In china there is a live crab machine at a train station.

lurch 12-07-2010, 05:07 PM simple solution....
local shops have a locker style device with cooling system with each mini locker having a changeable lock.
You call into the shop, order your plugs. eels, hooks and or other fishing needs plus a convenience fee. Once the transaction is complete the shop owner assigns you a locker number with the number of the combination. Before the shop closes the owner places all of the items into the assigned lockers setting the combo that he gave to you. The next day the owner changes the combo and repeats the process. it is a win - win for everyone.

I have had the local shops down here do that for me, they just put everything in a bait locker. On my way out to fish I stop and pick everything up out of the locker. Eels are on ice and ready to go.
PRBuzz 12-07-2010, 07:12 PM Can you fill it with this type of eel? If they can do this to an alligator just imagine a striper!

Green Light 12-07-2010, 09:31 PM Are there "Shaken" and "Not Stirred" buttons? I like my eels shaken.
