I have a gas fired hot water heater (40 gal) free for the taking. Works perfectly. Listed as a 10 yr hot water heater installed 5 years ago.
Only reason I'm getting rid of it is we had a new heating system installed. Has on demand hot water in unit.
Bring a 2 wheeler and I'll even help ya get it out of basement.

You will need to change the gas valve and the orifice for the pilot
there maybe a kit but I doubt it

well i was thinkin  i could utilize it for a hot water heater in the hoop house sending hot water around the inside perimeter then back to the unit with an inline Pump threading the copper pipe through the holes in red brick so they got warmed in the process.
but........i'd have to run it off of canisters of propane gas though.
i have a hot water on demand unit now but it doesn't have the internal storage tank like this one that MAC has...
so if that "IDEA" isn't gonna fly, i'd rather it went to another good home ...aye.
:afterthought.... i may still do what i envisioned
but i will switch the heater to an ELECTRIC model instead
thanks for the opportunity tho MAC
Looks like Katie is next in line.
