Biggest game of the year so far, can't wait.
Gonna be a bit frosty and could be windy, I better layer up good and not forget gloves and extra socks.
I think the pats win 30 to 20 or something like that, i don't want to see another nail biter game. Bruschi will be honored at halftime :btu:
gonna be a real battle of a game:rumble:

Yep , big game tonight! I think they are in much better shape to win tonight than the first time they played. Lots of Rookies have 11 games under their belts now. I think the learning curve is steep for the rookie so they are much better prepared now.

I would like to see a big Pats run up of the score and a decent D showing. I want to get rid of any "points against opponent" playoff/championship issues with the Jets.

Go Patriots! :)

I think this one starts ugly but the Pats grab control of the game by the half.. win going away ( Sanchez pick six a strong possibilty) Pats 27... Jets 17..

I think this time around the Pats undress em, 28- 6 won't be high scoring, but not as close either.

Great game to be at because of the atmosphere, Bruschi being honored is an added bonus. He's one of my alltime favorite players. Great attitude, hard worker and a team player. Think I'll bust out the #54 jersey in honor of him for the game. Have fun Bruce.

Blagh, wish I could change my pick...

Pats are playing very well and RR is doing an atrocious coaching job... not throwing it on that last TD? I understand you only have one left, but if not on a score, when?

JackK

You're right, I don't know the rulebook front to back... I thought the announcers were saying if the forearm went out it wouldn't be a TD- it's actually the elbow, so the TD call was right! But still... throwing the flag on that first drive? RR needs some new people upstairs if they're telling him to throw it on that

THAT was uncalled for......never place me in the same league as a New Yawk fan. :hihi:

Besides....I had the Pats in the Football pool this week so I was happy.

You guys are too easy....

Now I hope Rex Ryan will STFU....that dude makes me ill :yak:

How about that O- line? They kept Brady upright, gave him plenty of time. Getting Mankins back sure helped.

Agreed, I consider three sacks a win against what that defense was supposed to be. The play where the safety smoked light and sacked Brady made Light look like his shoes were cemented. But overall giving Brady 3.5 seconds is a good effort by the line.

Jets only had a good record because they played lower tier teams! They have 2 tough teams in the next 2 wks and will likely get killed by pittsburgh

on some plays, ya they gave him all the time he needed
but I saw 2 sacks in a row, and at 3rd and long they wound up punting.
but with the beating they gave the jets ripping their engines off as Raven said:jump1: the sacks didn't matter

Didnt see that coming .. but.. maybe I shouild have.. that last team the JETS beat that had a winning record was the 1 - 0 Pats.. IN SEPTEMBER.... since then the jets have struggled against (supposedly) inferrior talent... some say winning those close games would make the JETS a BETTER TEAM.... imho..winning games against play off teams aka. Chargers,Stealers, Ravens and even the Colts. means a hell of alot more.. the loss to the Browns woke this team( PATS) up... but it all will mean nothing if they lay an egg next week...
