They just had a news banner scroll across the screen saying that Don Meredith passed away and that ESPN was going to pay tribute to him at half-time???? It better not cause us NE fans to miss the Teddy show!!!! Don was great but come on!!!!:fury:

ya, sorry to hear of Don's passing
TV does not usually show those tributes from the stadium, you HAVE to be there or catch a few clips on the news, sportscenter, nfl channel etc.
I was there giving him his due and chanted loudly TE DEE , TE DEE and saw his smile and heard it all.
the cameras put him and his family up on the big screen after as he was leaving the field and the crowd cheered more and you could tell he was absolutely loving it and didn't want to leave the field.
memorable moment in Patriots history
I'll file it with Troy Brown night in my memorable moments at Gillette.
