I know what you mean, when I drive by my local stream and go "Oh bleep, it's high tide, why did I miss that?"

Or when you go in the man cave to do something non fishing related.

When I got to my desk on a Monday morning last week and checked the coastal marine forecast and realized "Oh wait, it doesn't matter. I've called it quits on fishing for the year."

a real bummer.
