Does look like some 1950's version of what an alien might look like--super large cranium in relation to rest of head (and missing body). But its just the angle at which the photo was taken.

A college student walking in Boston on Wednesday made a gruesome discovery: two skulls in a box.
Police said they are trying to determine if the remains are human.

Upon close forensic inspection and modeling by the CSI team, they skulls were determined to be of alien origin....
