Anyone interested in a older Pioneer SX-208 stereo receiver for the shop/garage? Works OK, I just unplugged from our daily use. I can also through in a couple Sony tower speakers.

A plug or 2 and it is yours. Free is an option.

Guess with my glasses on it is a 205 not 208. Here's some pic of the front & Back plus one of the 2 speakers.

Specs:

* 100 watts per channel, A & B, basic stereo 2 channel
* 6 Audio Inputs
* AM/FM Tuner with 30 Station Presets
* Direct Access and Memory Scan Tuning

I'd take it but your over an hour away from me so it wouldn't be worth it to get.

I have been looking for something like this for a long time.

Seems to be a lot of interest in stereos? OK so here is a 2nd unit I'll make available for trade. Got to keep ho'ing plugs.

A Sony HCD-H405, takes 5 CD's, cassette tapes, and radio receiver.

Also 27" Sony Trinitron TV Model KV-27566.

Everything in working order.

Phil I got it hooked up yesterday. Need some better speakers but it's loads better than the boom box with the intermittent volume control. I ended up with the sony-nice little stereo Tnx

Glad to hear. And all these years you thought you had a hearing problem....:uhuh:

Might be able to help you out with speakers, cost you some more plugs of course. I've got a Cambridge Soundworks system with a nonpowered subwoofer which is a passthrough to 2 tweeters. From memory the subwoofer is about 8"x8"x10" high and the tweeters are maybe 4"x3"X5".
