With all that is going on here in the Scuppers lately I just want to add a couple things.
This is a FISHING FORUM. That's what we do at Striped-Bass.com. We Talk Fish. We meet people online and then we often go out and FISH. The Scuppers is to be a place where we can talk other things when we are not talking fishing. But we are a FISHING forum, populated by ANGLERS of all walks of life (and sublife - right CS? :D ). The Scuppers is for out members that talk fishing to talk topics other than fishing. If people want to talk about politics or war as an extension of fishing talk, that is OK - and even when peoples' various positions are not in alignment, that's OK too as long as it is done in a semi-respectfull manner. But it is for those that talk FISHING 80% or better of the time. It was never intended to be anything BUT a side forum of a FISHING forum. Fishing is a passion, a source of relaxation, or simply getting away from many things in life. Its not meant to get in the way of important events like the war - who is right & who is wrong. There are more important venues for that to be discussed than on a FISHING site.
So please use this small corner of S-B as a place for our regular & new ANGLERS that normally talk FISHING to have non-fishing discussions. Go somewhere else if you want a political pulpit from which you can lecture...
