Started out constant pain a few years ago with my knees, doctor says I have psoriatic arthritis.
Been taking meds.
Knees been better but feet killing, in particular my heels, more the right one.

The gel inserts are a waste.

I had a major problem with foot pain a few years ago Ronnie. I went to the doc and also did alot of research. #1 most consistent cause of pain from knees down is insufficient arch support. As you get older your feet start to flatten. The 1/2 insert (goes from heel to 1/2 down your foot) is the best way proven to eliminate these pains. What it does is causes your feet to roll outwards on each side. You will notice a HUGE difference after a week wearing them...just make sure you wear them...it really does work. I'm on my feet 8-10 hours a day on hard concrete floors and no more foot pain.

If you have problem with heels as I did it could be "heel spurs". Tried all types of gel pads and ended up at a Podiatrist and have shoe inserts now. Gel pads do not work! Might check out FootSmart(dot)com they have all kinds of footcare, shoes & socks etc. and advise. Highly recommend Born shoes for all day comfort.

I went to the Sketchers place in the outlet malls and tried a few pairs of Shape Ups, and think I found my solution.
I'll report more in a week.

Spenco Inserts.

I have spent many hours standing on concrete. They work in about any shoe as long as there is room.

I have been standing on concrete for 30 plus years. Years ago i went to a podiatrist and had molds made of my feet and insert made from them. Best thing I ever did but still sucks standing hour after hour. Stretching and staying limber helps a lot too but do as I say not as I do because I don't do it enough and yes getting older really is a reality slap to your physical well being. Use it or loose it is really starting to be a good credo to go by.

Getting older sucks physically. My feet were killing me, too. And still do if I over do it. I found that if I stretch my feet by pulling my big toe toward my shin at night, thae pain all but goes and stays away the next day. Give it a try.

Try a pair Timberland PRO Titans, you can't lose. They have a 30 day comfort guarantee, so if they are not the most comfortable boots you have worn, you can return them within 30 days of purchase and Timberland will send you a full refund.*

*Disclaimer - I work for Timberland.

If you prefer a logger, Chippewa makes the best IMO.
