we have a media that will go through the dirty underwear of anyone that they feel needs character assasination....Joe the Plummer...Sarah Palin, Ken Starr...even run with false and forged information about Bush on the eve of an election...but we have an historic president with what is an intriuging life on his way to the presidency and the media and others have little or no interest in the details of his life beyond what they are spoon fed to create a narrative....

this guy has been hilarious since he was elected, first he declared that he knew that Obama was born in Hawaii because he was there and knew the parents only admitting a few days later that he wasn't "actually" there....

then promising to find the actual birth records which shouldn't be all that difficult as they are sealed and being guarded at great legal expense....

now...

Hawaii governor can't find Obama birth certificate
Suggests controversy could hurt president's re-election chances

Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie suggested in an interview published today that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Barack Obama may not exist within the vital records maintained by the Hawaii Department of Health.

Abercrombie told the Honolulu Star Advertiser he was searching within the Hawaii Department of Health to find definitive vital records that would prove Obama was born in Hawaii, because the continuing eligibility controversy could hurt the president's chances of re-election in 2012.

and then.....

Officials in Hawaii have tracked down papers indicating that President Obama was indeed born in their state, according to its new governor.

Gov. Neil Abercrombie, who took office in December, told Honolulu's Star-Advertiser on Tuesday that "our investigation" indicates there is a recording of his birth.

"It actually exists in the archives, written down," he said
I thought it was already sealed?

I'd love to know how he knew the parents...

What Obama Has Said about His Own Birth
By Jack Cashill

In September 2009, President Obama addressed the nation's schoolchildren writ large, an innovation that struck many on the right as a wee bit too Big-Brotherly. In the talk, Obama asked America's students to take personal responsibility. That was all well enough.

Missed in the media hubbub, however, was his take on why this could be difficult for some students. "I get it," he told the kiddies. "I know what that's like. My father left my family when I was two years old, and I was raised by a single mother."

In his 1995 memoir Dreams from My Father, Obama made the same claim. "He had left Hawaii back in 1963," he wrote of Obama Sr., "when I was only two years old."

He tells of coming across an article from the Honolulu Advertiser celebrating Barack Obama, Sr.'s planned grand tour of mainland universities on his triumphant way to Harvard.

Obama writes ruefully in Dreams, "No mention is made of my mother or me, and I'm left to wonder whether the omission was intentional on my father's part, in anticipation of his long departure." What Obama does not mention is that the article was dated June 22, 1962.

Obama was reportedly born on August 4, 1961. He was not yet a year old at the time Obama Sr. left Hawaii for good. More to the point, Obama fails to mention that he and his mother, Ann Dunham, were living in Seattle at the time and had been since at least August 19, 1961, the day she enrolled at the University of Washington.

In short, the family never lived together. There was no Obama family. The Obama camp surely knew this by the time he ran for president, but Obama kept dissembling about his origins nonetheless.

Questions linger about the paternity of many of these offspring. In Dreams, Obama's cryptic and contrarian Aunt Sarah would tell her presumed nephew, " ... the children who claim to be Obama's are not Obama's." Obama must have wondered whether she was referring to him.

Curiously, when Obama found the article about Obama Sr.'s departure, he found it "folded away among my birth certificate and old vaccination forms." Later in Dreams, in a passage heretofore overlooked, Obama unwittingly reveals that there may have been problems with that birth certificate.

On the occasion of his father's death in 1982, lawyers contacted anyone who might have claim to the estate. "Unlike my mum," Obama tells his half-sister Auma in Dreams, "Ruth has all the documents needed to prove who Mark's father was."

Ruth obviously could produce a marriage license and a birth certificate for her son Mark. Ann Dunham apparently could not do the same for her son Barack, at least not one that could tie him to Obama Sr. -- not even with a potential payoff on the table.

The long form birth certificate could pose a number of problems other than country of origin, including the date of Obama's birth, the state of his birth, and the identity of his father. Any one of these revelations could unravel the yarn that Obama has been spinning.

These problems derive from the fact that Ann Dunham enrolled at university on August 19, 1961 and returned to Hawaii only after Obama Sr. had left Hawaii for good. Both of these facts are more firmly established than President Obama's Honolulu birth on August 4, 1961.

you guys should read Obama's books some time...might make a great reality show some day...:uhuh:

oh the tangled web we weave:)

Birthers, Truthers, what's the difference ?

Produce a birth certificate and be done with all the clamor. I really don't believe that he is not a citizen, but I would like to see some documentation is this beaten dead horse can finally rest in peace.

My only question, how did he get a driver's license, job, or to Harvard without one? I know back in the 80s you couldn't take a poop without a birth certificate.

Hawaii governor claims record of Obama's birth 'exists in archives' but can't produce the vital document

Governor Neil Abercrombie is facing renewed pressure over Obama's Hawaiin origins.
Pressure was mounting on Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie today amid increasing confusion over whether President Obama was born there.
Abercrombie said on Tuesday that an investigation had unearthed papers proving Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961.
He told Honolulu's Star-Advertiser: 'It actually exists in the archives, written down,' he said.
But it became apparent that what had been discovered was an unspecified listing or notation of Obama's birth that someone had made in the state archives and not a birth certificate.
And in the same interview Abercrombie suggested that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Barack Obama may not exist within the vital records maintained by the Hawaii Department of Health.

I'm sure he was born in Hawaii. But the fact is, Obama has personally spent thousands of dollars in legal fees to keep both his official birth certificate and his Harvard transcripts, private. I, for one, would like to know why, and there's nothing delusional about asking that.

I figure either (1) when he applied to Harvard, he claimed he wasn't a US citizen,to improve his chances of getting in or getting aid, or (2) he wants to keep the birthers going, so that he can claim that he's a victimof radical right-wing conspiracy theorists.

it's just another political club that they use to draw lines of loyalty...just like race... note that it's always one of their people that brings the subject up now(this Governor is another socialist from the Obama past)...which allows them to scream "birther" at anyone who says this is a little odd......how many times has Obama been to Hawaii since he was elected???....I suppose he could do exactly what any of us would do and go down and request a copy....right????? :uhuh:

I remember back when the league asked for my birth certificate(had to be an original with the stamp, not a photocopy) for Little League....the first thing that I did was hire a team of lawyers to have my records sealed :rotf2:

but they wouldn't let me play because those were the rules....so I provided the document

then the league lost my original and so I later had to request a replacement from the state where I was born...it wasn't that difficult

Harvard is a private university, he didn't have to spend a dime for them to not give out his transcripts.

Jack Cashill

During an interview on the KQRS morning radio show on January 20, Mike Evans, a long-time friend of Hawaii governor Neil Abercrombie, shared a conversation he had with the governor the day prior. The reader is advised to judge for himself the credibility of Evans' account, but he sounds convincing.

Evans, Honolulu born and now a Hollywood-based celebrity journalist, claimed that Abercrombie had promised him that he when he became governor, he planned to find absolute proof that Obama was born in Hawaii.

When Evans spoke to Abercrombie on January 19, Abercrombie reportedly told him that he searched the relevant Hawaii hospitals using his powers as governor, and concluded, according to Evans, "There is no Barack Obama birth certificate in Hawaii, absolutely no proof at all that Obama was born in Hawaii." After Abercrombie made such a fuss about finding the birth certificate, Evans concluded of his friend that he has "got some egg in the face."

Curiously too, when Evans asked Abercrombie when he first encountered the young Barack Obama, Abercrombie reportedly said, "I remember him playing in a T-Ball league," when he was roughly five or six years old.

The reader may recall that Abercrombie had told the Los Angeles Times just before Christmas, "Maybe I'm the only one in the country that could look you right in the eye right now and tell you, ‘I was here when that baby was born.'"

A few days later, Abercrombie clarified to Mark Niesse of the Associated Press that he didn't exactly see Obama's parents with their newborn son at the hospital, but that he "remembers seeing Obama as a child with his parents at social events." Of course, Obama Sr. had left for Harvard four years before young Barack was T-Ball eligible.

In the Obama rabbit hole, things do seem to get progressively curiouser and curiouser.

yes they do :uhuh::rotf2:
