I was off the coast of Florida on my Ship when it happened.....we almost got the call for the recovery but there was another ship in the area that got the call.
Sad Day.

I was in 3rd grade and it was a scheduled early release day (Tuesday). I went home from School and when I walked in our house I saw my Mom crying with the TV on.

I was cutting cement at General Foods up on Montello Ave......Woburn I think???? Sitting in my work truck eating lunch and listening to the launch as it happened. Sad indeed!

Same here, all the third graders gathered around to watch it. When it happened the teachers went quiet, and turned the tv off, later on my mom had to explain what we just saw.

I was sitting on a plane waiting to take off from Louisiana a couple of days after the Bears berried the Pats in Superbowl XX.
It really put into perspective how meaningless a game is.

I was in a customers house doing a service call, I was an apprentice plumber, me the Journyman and the homeowner were watching it, it was unbelievable to this day I can see it plan as it just happened an hour ago
