Bob Thomas 01-28-2011, 03:03 PM I just want to see the machine that did that and get one :fury::fury: likwid 01-28-2011, 03:10 PM I just want to see the machine that did that and get one :fury::fury: Two machines actually Front end loader and a machine alot like your 2 stage snowblower only freaking gigantic. Piscator 01-28-2011, 03:41 PM so that is a real pic??? I thought it was fake. The trees seem to me a little off in comparison. Swimmer 01-28-2011, 03:49 PM I have seen those working the first week of July at or near the visitors center in Estes Park. Co. High, very high sides of the road. I think the stick said fifteen feet. Raven 01-28-2011, 04:02 PM water levels above what we now call sea level will be 20' feet higher than it is today.... a second Home in the mountains would be a wise investment and a good survival plan to fall back to.... if not for you, do it for your KIDS i was watching this show where the scientist laid a dark board on the polar snow next to a white one.... the white one stayed at the same temperature...where as the dark board quickly reached 90 degrees. this is what will happen rather rapidly once the land mass thats been buried for centuries under ice and snow becomes exposed MakoMike 01-28-2011, 04:59 PM this is what will happen rather rapidly once the land mass thats been buried for centuries under ice and snow becomes exposed There is no "land Mass" under the Arctic ice. MAKAI 01-28-2011, 05:10 PM Plenty under the Antarctic though. Greenland has a lot of ice on top of a lot of land too. PRBuzz 01-28-2011, 05:41 PM I just want to see the machine that did that and get one :fury::fury: YouTube - Snowblowers on North Cascades Highway - April 2009 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qTELTaFgbqs&feature=related) iamskippy 01-28-2011, 11:22 PM i would like to point out that the road is actualy down to the pavement! unlike the state of RI islandbigfish 01-29-2011, 09:09 PM No kidding! I live an Stonington, CT and work in Providence. I'm not saying CT is any better, but RI seems to abandon 95 in South County during snow storms with any amount of accumulation. Then when I get to Providence, the walk from a parking garage to my office is brutal and I'm wishing I had either snow shoes or hockey skates. The state and city of Providence are snow removal challenged! I didn't intend for this to be my first post after being a passive member for a year or so. It has nothing to to with fishing which has become my passion or addiction depending on who you talk to. I will introduce myself in the new member forum soon and look forward to being a more active member. striperman36 01-29-2011, 09:21 PM They don't make these anymore. Shame.
