I'm spending some time this weekend with family on the Cape and the view from the long boardwalk over the marsh was incredible today... I got there around 2:45PM and the tide had just started falling and the current was carrying many mini icebergs from the marsh... cold wind but full sun ... I took a cool video of the ice floes.. here are a few pictures of my wife Martha and my sister Betsy and the marsh /current flows

I launch my Hobie from here in the summer and ride the outflow and fish barnstable harbor and the rips off sandy neck

Use to love going to the cottage in Eastham over the winter just to check on things as a kid with my family. Snow on th beach, watching the ice rise with the incoming tide. Cool place in the winter.

a few more pictures on our morning walk on the other side of the Cape... sun was out until it rose into the cloud line... low tide showing plenty of erosion vs last summer

live 5 mins from there. delete this thread:grins: jk it is really nice, probably my favorite part of living around here is the multitude of beautiful beaches, and salt rivers you can drive up to and park at on the north side.
