Never been to plugfest before, but will have some stuff with me to trade. I made about 150 plugs this winter...mostly metal lipped dannies, donny sr's, conrad sr's, 7"eelies, and some needles.

How much trading typically goes on here? Should I bring 5,10,20 plugs with me?

Should the plugs be hookless or fully rigged?

I'm looking to dupe as many unsuspecting chumps as I can...:laugha:

Trading occurs pretty much the first thing. I have a dozen, mostly surface lures to trade with this year.

Bring them all and they will all be gone. I'd bring like 20. I'm not bring much plug wise. At this point mostly promised stuff. Still go lots of time before the fish show so I have not finished a lot, yet.

That is pretty much my story.. although I tend to leave with far less than I arrive with.. I'll have alot less than usual for bartering and Ho'ing, as I havent had the time i usulay have... but I'll have enough to pique some interest...

I made 3 this time, 1 is already gone, another spoken for. I was bummed I only had 3, but I will make up for that. The other page that had 3 more bruins on it , the color yellow/gold came out kind of off so I used the good ones for now. Once I get more of that transfer paper, i will make more.

Those are awesome! I don't know if doing the transfer is difficult, but you make them look perfect.

it's hard with compound curves as they don't stretch, also it's tough positioning you have to be careful not to crinkle

Just do what I do when things get effed up(which is often) and add lots of glitter. After that you can just tell everyone that's the way you designed them:angel:...I'll be there tomorrow with a big box of glitter plugs in hand for the unsuspecting :laugha:

LOL. Mike and I discussed this one day. It's my MO too. If you see glitter on my plugs you know I had a bad day of epoxy, although i am starting to like some glitter on some plugs at this point. Been conditioned to seeing it, growing on me.

Jury rigged the rod lathe spinner. Just put nine of them on it. They were still tacky. We'll see what comes of it. Also posting a pic of my mackeral stencil.

After I finished the darter how to and packed up the rigging display, I managed to find about 100 virgin assorted plugs to load in the big case.. you name it.. and it's most likely in there.... maybe only one of each.. but it'in there...

My mai-tais have taken over... time for bed.. see you all in the morning!
