Was looking at both of these kits and wanted to get some feedback on which to purchase or what to look far, i have read a few posts around and think both of these may capture the best features, but wanted more opionions.

Paasche H-100D Airbrush & Compressor Package: HSET, D500SR, & AC7 - $161 The H model airbrush is simple and easy to use and a great choice for beginners. In this package, the H Airbrush comes with all three spray heads and can spray any paint. The D500SR is a quiet 1/8 HP compressor with regulator & moisture trap that delivers steady, dry air and also has the auto-shutoff feature. Also inlcuded is the AC-7 cleaning kit.

Badger T63 Vega 2000 Airbrush Kit with Mini Compressor - $190 This set contains the Vega 2000 airbrush with all three tips/needles/air caps, attachable jar, two additional mixing jars, 1/4 oz. color cup, braided air hose w/varying air source fitting, airbrush holder, wrench, protective cap, and instruction manual in an attractive POP box. Mini Compressor. Our new featured mini compressor is an Oil-less Maintenance-Free 1/8HP Auto-Stop (Preset at 60 PSI), Thermal Protected unit with much higher quality standards built in than most other airbrush compressors on the market today. Mini airbrush compressor TC 20 is designed to work only when you do. With this unique automatic on/off shutoff switch, it only operates when you are airbrushing. This "Air-On-Demand" feature allows the compressor to operate much cooler and avoid overheating problems that frequently plague other compressor models

thanks in advance

my opinion, for what it is worth and you are going to see yourself doing this for years to come. I would buy an oiled compressor with a tank over 10 gallons, I have a Sears. Pump up the pressure and shut it off. No cycling and constant running. I hate the racket, ruins my music. I like Iwata for brushes, no knowledge of Badger but know many that have them and like them. I like at least 2 brushes. fine needled one for accents and a larger needled one for bigger coverage. Peak also makes a nice brush and cheaper than Iwata, I got one, but i like Iwata. These are going to cost you more than your set ups above but I have never been a big fan of the whole kit and kaboodle for one price. I'd rather piece it together myself. The above will probably serve you well for a fad type plug making experience but I like to buy the best I can so i don't have to do it again down the line. Good luck and remember no usually cares about my opinion, not even me sometimes.:uhuh:

The Paasche pictured is similar to one that I have. I use it to shoot a lot of paint at one time for example laying down base white coats. Iwata guns are the best but if you want to stay on a little tighter budget check out the DeVilbiss dagr it is highly functional shoots a decent fine line and won't break the bank.
