Chris JohnnySaxatilis 02-24-2011, 11:13 AM congrats! Ya know not to ramble or anything but I just wanted to share a lil anecdote: I fished a good amount with my dad when I was younger, when we went to nantucket for a few weeks during august and july almost every summer during school. But if i remember correctly, I was always a little bastard about it, complaining and what not. I had NO CLUE how good I had it then, and I cringe at the thought of hearing myself whine, and the trouble I made for my dad...... He dragged me all over that freakin island probly against my will most the time during un godly hours; and now I regret saying no to additional trips we could have gone on every day I fish or think about fishng. And he aint even dead yet! Don't worry if your kid won't initially like fishing. Force him to go DAMN IT! It will take hold of him. And he'll thank you for it in the end..... 2na 02-24-2011, 11:59 AM congratulations P!! ecduzitgood 02-24-2011, 12:01 PM Congratulations! BigFish 02-24-2011, 02:29 PM Congrats Piscator!! I'm hopin for a nice inlaw apt with a seperate garage where I can keep the boat and a condo on the east side of FL Piscator 02-24-2011, 11:31 PM Thanks Guys! Funny, I remember the very first time my Dad took me fishing when I was 5, I was hooked for life and enjoy it even more than he does. I thought to myself today, “Wouldn’t it be nice in a few years if the 3 of us (Me, my Dad, & my Son) went fishing” Now that would be special. Here is a pic of the keeper.... eskimo 02-25-2011, 12:24 AM too cool! congratulations DMenace 02-25-2011, 01:14 AM Thats an awesome picture. I cant wait for this year to get my 15 month old out with me. Even just being there with my wife or daughters while I fish. It's amazing how fast they pick stuff up though. Every morning after breakfast we go out to the living room and shoot hockey balls all over the place, but he holds the stick right and shoots it just from watching me. Your going to have a blast, congrats. striper774 02-25-2011, 07:12 AM congratulations and God Speed to that beautiful child, to you and your family. massgc 02-25-2011, 07:23 AM Keep the video game remote out of his hand. I learned the hard way, no fishing for him. Moses 02-25-2011, 07:49 AM Congrats! I have 2 boys myself and my youngest loves boating & fishing (7).
