Looking for best bang for the buck Thaks in advance, Offshore20 mikecc 04-08-2003, 07:35 PM Daiwa Eliminator 6'6" either the med heavy 2-6 oz 12-30lb or the the 3-8 oz 20-60lb either way they cost about +- $45. Offshore20 04-09-2003, 08:01 PM Thanks Mike, Have looked and cannot find those rods.:smash: Any advice to locate them.:( Offshore20 mikecc 04-09-2003, 08:23 PM I have them in My shop give me a call. I am located in Wareham not far from you. Duke41 04-10-2003, 08:38 AM Mike, no offense but I think Diawa makes a very poor quality rod. I brought two of them a couple of years ago. One snapped in half with a fish on. Never got to see what it was. I am guessing it may have been a yellow fin. The other one snapped last year while I was trolling wire. The rig got caught in some rocks. This is the only brand I have had an issue with. Offshore20 04-11-2003, 08:22 PM Thanks for the reply 179 I will take a look at the Star rods. The Daiwa rods look like a good value and plan to go to see Mike at his shop to check them out.
